Kath's POV
Daniel's phone buzzed, I was about to leave thinking it was Julia when he wrapped his other hand tightly in my waist. "It's Neil," he said while placing the phone in his ear.
"Yes? What?! Three days?!No I can't bring her she has to go to school. That damn old man. No i'm not bringing her is she won't go, i'm not forcing her. Of course i'll try! Okay." he ended the call. "Stupid old man." he muttered.
"Hey," I said as I placed my fingers in his chin to look in his eyes. "If you want the company so badly you should at least try to be kind to your father or employees." he sighed. "So? What was that call all about? I'm pretty sure the 'she' there is me."
He smirked. "Wanna go to America?"
"W-What ..?" I said, caught off guard with his direct question.
He winced. "I knew it." he said.
"N-No I didn't mean that! I'D LOVE TO GO THERE! ARE YOU SURE?!" I saw that he was quite shocked at my answer because he nodded slowly before smiling.
"Yeah..."
I shrieked before I hugged him which obviously caught him off guard because we both fell on the bed. "Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! It has been my dream to go to the States and--and we're going to go skating and wear those fluffy jackets and then play at the snow! We're gonna drink those hot chocolates in the morning and go to the ---"
"Woah, woah, WOAH!" he said before sitting, I didn't even notice I was sitting at his lap facing him, I was about to sit at his side but his hands were already wrapped around my waist.
"We're going there to meet some business partners AND for me to fix something that obviously is a problem in one of our main brach there."
My face fell but I saw the distress in Daniel's eyes so I tried my best to smile. "But hey, at least I get to enjoy the snow."
He chuckled. "Of course." he said. "I'll call your principal to excuse you for a week."
"I'm ging to be in so much trouble." I whispered. " You already excused me before and now you're doing it again."
"Of course you won't get into trouble." he said, and is quite confident about himself.
"You don't know the owner of our school, She's strict, silent, doesn't crack a smile--"
"And she is my tita." he said which made my mouth drop. "So, better watch your words, baby."
