Daniel's POV

I woke up when the suns ray hit my eyes. I immediately smiled when I saw the beauty beside me.

Hmm, she's still sleeping.

I shifted a bit so now were facing each other. I stared at her face, once again trying to memorize every tiny little things in it.

So far I noticed she has some freckles beside her nose (I counted, there were seven of them) but I really like those tiny little things. They really bring out the color of her eyes. I also noticed a tiny mole at her bottom lip, she has little pimple marks just below her hairline, and she also have a little birthmark behind her neck.

I could probably talk all day but I don't want to make you think i'm going crazy.

She moved, I though she was gonna wake up but she just pulled herself closer to me. 

She looks so cute I almost laughed.

I kissed her on the forehead and buried my face in her neck.

Moments like this are what I want to last forever.

Just Kath and me together.

With her I can pretend that everything is normal. With her i'm not the possible future heir of one of the most successful and powerful company in the world. With her i'm just a college boy who's in love. With her I can be just Daniel.

And that will be more than enough.

"Daniel?"

I smiled when I heard her calling my name. I was about to answer when I heard her snore again. I tucked some pieces of hair that fell on her face. I hate it when that happens.

I gave her a peck before slowly getting out of the bed.

I took a bath and went to the kitchen to prepare the table after the delivery arrived. As much as I wanted to cook her breakfast I don't want to burn the house. I was about to wake her up when I saw her standing at the stairs.

"Hey baby." I said as I went close. 

"Hey." she said. I saw her blush when I held her hands.

This is what I love most about, Kath. No matter how many time I kiss her or hold her hand, she will never get used to it. It gives me the excuse to repeat it over and over again.

"Breakfast?" I offered.

Her eyes went wide. "I thought you hate cooking?" she asked.

"Well," I kissed her hands. "Anything for my princess."

And on cue, she blushed.

"Just kidding, it's a take out."

She laughed but then she covered her face, much to my dismay. Why does she always feel concious when she blush or smile? I think she looks beautiful. Well, even if she wears the ugliest dress in existence and shave her head i'd still think she's beautiful.

"Daniel?" she suddenly asked when we were in the middle of eating breakfast.

"Hmm?"

"What do you want to do today?" she asked. I smiled.

"Anything you want." I said, i'm not really the guy with a plan.

"I want to go to a carnival." she blurted out. "If that's fine with you ..." she added. She's so cute.

"I told you, anything you want."

"This is sooo aweeeesome!" she screamed at the top of her lungs when the roller coaster turned and flipped. I couldn't help but laugh.

After a minute or two the ride finally ended.

I went off first and she followed. It looks like her feet were still wobbly because she suddenly fell but I was fast enough to catch her. We stared at each others eyes for a second and then burst out laughing.

"I'm sorry." she said between her laugh. I just kissed her nose.

"You're too cute sometimes."

We walked and ate all types of food I don't even recognize. As far as i'm concerned the only thing we didn't go into was the Haunted House cause she was too scared to even try.

"Oh My God! That teddy bear is perfection!" she suddenly screamed. She ran towards the store so I followed her.

"How much is that?" I asked.

"Oh, you have to win it, sir. Not pay for it." the guy said. What? I can't just buy it? But why?

I looked at Kath and she looked devastated but she forced a smile at me. "Let's go, Daniel. I know games aren't your thing." she said pulling me away but I stayed still, noticing the guys cocky face.

"What do I have to do?" I asked the guy and I heard Kath gasp.

"Dan--"

"You just have to hit five cans and you will only be given three stones, or i'll give you four since i'm pretty sure this will be hard for you." I shot the guy a look but he just smirked and then looked at Kath.

Oh ... so this is what it is. Hitting on my girlfriend are we?

He offered me four plastic balls but I only took one. I can feel Kath's stare at me. I'll bet she's hoping I won't throw this ball to the guys forehead and then steal the teddy bear because I am seriously tempted.

I took a step back and then aimed at the 10 cans that were plastered over some shelves. I tried to remember the years of playing dart games and applied it to this. I threw the ball with so much force it hit 6 cans at once.

I smirked when I saw the guys mouth hanging wide. I went near him. "The bear." I said.

He immediately took the bear and gave it to me with a shaking hands. "H-Here sir." sabi nya. I turned my back at him and stared at the equally shocked Kath.

I wrapped my arms around her and we started to walk away. "And that's how you teach a lesson to a guy who's hitting on your girlfriend."

"Daniel ... y'know that was kind of ... rough, right?" she said.

"I know." I said. She just smiled and shook her head. "But you love me anyway so we have no problem."

This time she really laughed out loud and everything stopped. I know it sounds cheesy and all but everything around me literally stopped. I stared in awe.

And then I realized I want to hear that laugh every day for the rest of my life. 

"What?" she asked.

"What'd I do to deserve you?" I asked. She smiled.

"You loved me." she whispered. "Simple as that."

She leaned in and kissed me.

A lot of questions went on my mind during the kiss.

Am I falling too deep?

Will she stay forever?

Can I protect her?

Is she the one?

And then I realized, the answer to every question is 'yes'.
