Kath's POV

Ever since Daniel's confession I have been so giddy and happy I was practically smiling all day. Daniel managed to get us out of the hospital so here I am again stuck on the house but it's better than in the creepy, silent hospital.

It was still boring but since I already familiarized the place I managed to go out and shop, Daniel also placed a tracker on my phone in saying it can help him find me in case I get lost.

So, here I am, in the streets, minding my own business. I went inside a cafe and bought breakfast. I don't know why but I think some poeple are following me, I think they're even taking pictures. Maybe they're just tourist.

I grabbed the newspaper and sat on a table. I checked my phone, hmm, no messages yet. I browsed through the newspaper reading about the world and it's problems, when suddenly I reached the gossip entertainment page and saw my face.

No, i'm not kidding, I litterally chocked on my coffee when I saw a picture of myself with Daniel on the airport. This was the time when I pulled him and kissed him. In the picture we were both closing our eyes but he was smiling a bit. On the second picture next to it was me alone. It was a close up with my face. It reads:

Famous young business man Daniel Padilla have finally broken the heart of a million fangirls (and fangirls at heart) and decided to tie the knot with this beautiful woman (Just kidding!). However, it was confirmed by his brother, Xian Padilla, that he was in fact engaged with the unknown girl in the picture and would be married after they both graduate from college. Her name was not mentioned but if there's one thing we know is that she made the strict, cold, and unapproachable Daniel Padilla smile. To all the girls out there you are not alone in this dilemma, trust me I know, but we got to admit, they are a pretty cute couple. 

My mouth was wide open. Oh God. Did Daniel read this?! I took my phone and immediately called him. After a few rings he finally answered.

"Hey, baby." he whispered which gave me goosebumps.

"H-Hey, um, Daniel, did you read the paper this morning?"

"No, why?"

"Well, there's a li-ttle problem."

I heard papers flipping and then after a while he laughed.

"So we are a cute couple. I knew it."

I rolled my eyes even though I was blushing furiously. "Daniel, this is serious, what about my friends? My family? They don't know about us yet."

"Well, explain it to them as soon as we get back. I promise. And why worry about your grandparents? They love me."

I chuckled. "Well, aren't you confident?"

"Of course." he said smugly I giggled.

"Whatever, Daniel. I better prepare a speech for my friends. I'm sure they'll kill me with questions."

"Oooh, don't worry. I'll save you." I heard someone enter the door. It was Neil telling Daniel about a meeting or something. "I'm sorry baby, I really need to go now, see you tonight."

"Don't push yourself." I whispered. "Bye."

"Bye, I love you."

"I love you."

I smiled before ending the call. I swear i'll never get used to him telling me 'I love you'. I looked around and saw another group of guys taking a picture of me. Oh Gods, I can't believe this. They are following me! Where were they when I was lost in the freezing weather?!
