Kath's POV
Look I know Daniel already told me that the reason we went here was because of his work and publicity. We're not here for fun. We're not here to enjoy the vacation. But this is just ... BORING!
It has been three days and it took all my willpower to stop myself in complaining to Daniel. Cause, I knew i'd just add more stress to his mind. I rarely see him, too. Everytime I woke up in the morning he was gone and he's not even home when I go to sleep.
So there is good news and bad news:
Good News: Julia is nowhere near me.
Bad News : She's near Daniel.
She's working at their company for the moment, saying her father owns the second largest share of the company. Bitch, no need to brag.
Today, I decided to wake up at 3:00 in the morning. Yeah, i'm not kidding. I still have jet-lag so it's not that hard and I already estimated and Daniel leaves the house at 4:30. So here I am, preparing breakfast for my dear (fake) fiance.
I yawned as I boiled water for his tea. I heard (from Neil) he hates coffee, I toasted some buns and fried an egg and a few bacons. I glanced at the clock: 3:30, awesome, another hour before he wakes up.
I was so distracted by my thoughts I didn't notice I accidentaly touched the hot teapot. I screamed as I quickly removed my hand, wrong move, it hit the vase causing it to fall on the floor and break. I heard footsteps from above.
It was Daniel.
"Kathryn?! ARE YOU OKAY?!" he still have his morning hair and was only wearing a loose short, yes, he is shirtless. He bent down to my level.
"I-I'm sorry. I-- I tried making breakfast but-- the teapot-- I didn't notice-- Oh my God! The vase!" I screamed. I knew the moment I looked at it that it was expensive, I never thought i'll break it.
I tried to pick up the flowers that fell with the vase, well whatevers left of it.
"Wag ka nga jan!" sabi nya. He looked at my hand which is now painfully red. He winced before carrying me in the kitchen counter. "Who told you to make breakfast?" he asked, I pouted a bit. I was a bit hurt so the truth exploded in my mouth
"Well, since I haven't been seeing you properly this past few days I thought maybe if I make breakfast we can finally hang out a bit." he tutted before taking an ice and gently pressing it to my hands. "It's really boring here, you know."
"Want me to send Neil here?" he asked. How can he be so DENSE?! He's the one I want to talk to not Neil!
I shook my head.
I guess he read my mind because of my distressed expression because he smiled, leaned in, and kissed my forehead.
