16 // have you ever dreamt what we could do?

"I found me an angel, I can see it in your halo..
Have you ever dreamt what we could do?
Have you ever sent an "I love you"?
I've never felt the feelings that I feel for you..
So maybe we could make it with me and you.."

The kind of love I want to feel is the kind that everyone deserves to feel.

I want to be able to wake up in the morning with someone I love, their sleeping figure looking peaceful when I smile at them.

I want to be able to hold them close to me, tell them I love them and that I'll never let go.

I want the kind of love that takes all the air out of my lungs,

but I also want the kind of love that brings back all the air to my lungs.

I want to look at the one I love as if they put the stars in the sky,

as if they're the reason for all the beautiful things this world has to offer.

I want to be able to smile at them when they talk to me about their dreams, their hopes, their futures.

I want to get to know the one I love and I want them to know that I'll always be around no matter what.

I want the kind of love that gives me space when I need it, but also the love and support I want when I need it.

I want someone to look at me and tell me that I'm their whole world,

an additional cause for their happiness.

I want a healthy and stable relationship with someone I love.

I want them to be comfortable enough to tell me what's wrong, how I can help, etc.

I want a mutual kind of love,

not the one-sided kind.

I want to be able to grow old with them, watching the colorful hair they once sported slowly shine with a shimmering silver.

I want the kind of love that smooths out the bumps relationships come with,

calm and civil discussions being held whenever either of us loses our temper.

I want the kind of love my parents have.

My mother is my father's best friend.

My father is my mother's best friend.

They love each other to the moon and back.

My future love,

if you're out there,

somewhere,

reading this,

just know that you're the one for me.

Thank you for all that you've done for me.

You mean the world to me.

I will love you until infinity and I hope you feel the same.

I want this kind of love.
