I was on my bunk feeling quite annoyed now. Roshan wouldnt shut up about Raili and the rumors. They giggled in excitement while i tried everything to not hear them.

I tried listening to music, falling asleep, practicing my flute or even singing. But nothing, their tremendous fangirling over the rumors always found a way to get in my head, and it sucked. I even tried going outside, but it only made things worse. Everyone whispering and giggling about the new topic.

I lay on my bed covering my ears with a pillow, trying to get some sleep. Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up...

"Cheska," i heard a small voice call out.

Not in my presence of mind, i screamed,

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP ALREADY, OKAY!?" my eyes closed.

The giggling stopped, replaced with gasps.

"Cheska! Are you okay?" the voice said, louder this time.

I opened my eyes and regretted everything i said. I sat up and looked at Raili, who looked at me with a worried look, confused.

"You okay, man?" she asked again,

"What? Ugh, yeah, yeah. Im fine, just a headache." i lied.

I was actually really mad at Raili. I know it isnt her fault Nico likes her, but, im just really mad.

"Oh, well then, you should get some rest." she said.

"Uhm... yeah, okay. Thanks,"

"Yeah," she said, then looked at Roshan. "Keep it down a little."

I gave a sigh of relief and lay in bed. Raili was about to go when i asked,

"Hey, what were you going to say to me?"

"Oh, maybe later. Right now, you need to rest. See you at dinner," she said, and walked out the cabin.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep, away from the rumors.
