Chapter 18: Danika

DANIKA

"Sis, wake up..." i heard a voice whisper, Percy of course.

"Shut. Up." i grumbled, half asleep.

"Nico and Raili are waiting outside, dont keep them waiting."

I cursed then got out of bed. Percy stood close to me, smiling.

"I hate you," i said,

"Aaaw, i hate you too." Percy said sweetly.

We both laughed and i gave him a big bear hug.

I walked out the cabin to find Nico and Raili holding hands, which was gross.

"Morning," Raili greeted.

"Yeah. Mornin' Colli-"

I slapped Nico before he could finish his sentence.

"Ow, gods! What was that for?" he said, rubbing his face.

"For waking me up early in the morning, Angelo!" i growled.

I heard footsteps coming closer, i looked around and found Percy.

"Breakfast, anyone?"

After breakfast, Nico, Raili, Percy and I decided to walk around a bit before giving the two of them some privacy. It was a peaceful walk, until Nico's new sister showed up.

She had blakish brown hair and intense black eyes. She wore black everything. Black leather jacket, shirt, pants, and shoes. Apparently, she also knows how to shadow travel, just like Nico.

"Nico, dad says i have to- who are these people?" she asked, pointing at us.

"Katherine, these are my friends. Raili, Percy and Danika. Guys, this is Katherine, my half sister."

"Nice to meet you-" Percy half finished.

"Nico, dad says i have to watch you before you have an accident again." Katherine said.

Nico cursed and glared at her sister. Katherine just rolled her eyes and walked away.

"Anyways, i better get going. You to should-"

"Why?" Percy interrupted, "We're having so much fun."

I hit him in the gut and gave him a look that said: Lets go. I grabbed Percy by the arm and dragged him as far away as possible.

I sat on the bed and held my phone. Percy was alseep and i was really bored. I decided to do something fun. Slowly, i put my phone in my pocket and walked into the woods away from Camp Half Blood.

When i got there, i held out my right palm and felt it getting heavier. Yolanda (suggested by Percy) appeared on my hand, ready for a fight. I looked around before taking out my phone. No one.

Slowly, i took out my phone pushed random buttons. Then, it started ringing. I dint know who i was calling, but that dint really matter. No one seemed to pick up, which was good, since i needed time for them to find me.

Suddenly, i heard rustling from the trees. The sky began to turn gray, lightning flickered. I ended the call and dropped my phone on the grass. I gripped my sword and got ready.
