Chapter 30: Danika

DANIKA

I stared at Percy as he ate some pie... blue pie. I was bored. Raili told me that she had to face her problem alone. It was no fun at all. I just kept staring and staring at Percy as he happily ate his pie.

"Want some?" he asked.

Before i could answer, i heard a knock on the door. I immediately knew it was Raili. How i knew, i didnt know. I opened the door to find Raili bringing a small backpack.

"Where do you think your going?" i asked,

"Danika, i need you to come with me... to Las Vegas." she whispered, looking at Percy.

"Did Chiron allow you?"

"No. He wouldnt like my reason. Now, are you coming or not?"

I stared at her, she wasnt kidding. She wanted to go to Las Vegas, to hell. Just because of one guy. I sighed.

"Your going to need more people on this 'quest', you know." i said,

"Yeah, i know." she said, "Thats why i invited them to the party,"

She pointed to Half-Blood Hill and i saw 5 demigods hiding in the bushes. Thats alot of invites, but then again, we needed all the help we can get.

"So, are you in?" Raili asked.

"Sure. Lets get this party started..."

I met the others at the borders of camp. Tia, Janelle, Cheska, Marielle and Margaret were all ready. Tia had a quiver of bronze arrows strapped to her back, her bow which closed into a small bronze boomarang-shaped thing was in her hand. Janelle brought only her dagger and her necklace around her neck. Cheska, Marielle and Margaret brought backpacks with their stuff inside.

When Margaret saw me, she ran and told me her 'discovery'.

"Danny! You wont believe what just happened today. Turns out, i can make people insane!" she told me.

I twitched and back away a little.

"Oh, dont worry Danny, Marielle knows how to make people sane. So, incase, you know... i might accidentally..."

"Alright! We better get going now," i said, changing the subject quickly.

I dragged Janelle and Cheska by the hand before Margaret accidentally makes me insane. But before i got the chance to get out of camp borders, i heard a shout.

I stopped and looked around. Panting and jogging towards us was Katherine, which i didnt expect help from... at all.

"What?" snapped Raili,

"Look," Katherine began, "You were right. Im sorry. I just didnt want my brother getting hurt."

Hurt? Guess he had alot of break ups, all caused by one girl, Lourdes.

"Okay, okay, apology accepted. Now, come on Raili, we need to go before Chiron finds out were gone." i said,

"Wait! Dont go, I- i want to help..." Katherine said.

The others and I all exchanged looks, what could she do to help? By the look on her face i knew she really wanted to help, but also, i knew she didnt know what to do to help.

Before i could think of something, Janelle snapped her fingers, calling our attention.

"I know, why dont you shadow travel us to Hades'..." she said.

Minutes later, we were in Las Vegas. Katherine sat on the curb. Clearly, she wasnt quite used to shadow traveling. I looked around, we had a huge problem.
