Chapter 22: Nico

NICO

The pain was unbearable, my head throbbed but i refused to go to the Infirmary. I didnt want Raili to worry. Now and then i would ask Katherine who my girlfriend was.

I decided to rest and skip dinner, ambrosia was good enough.

···

"Sedurinna... Sedurinna... Sedurinna..."

I woke up with a start, i had the sudden urge to find a girl named Sedurinna. I sat up and put my hand on my forehead, my headache was gone.

"Nico, youre awake!"

I looked around and found Katherine, exhausted. I felt sorry for her, she has been taking care of me all night last night.

"Yeah, im awake."

"Your, your headache..." she said worridly.

"Gone, thankfully. But... i have a feeling im forgetting something. Something important," i said, putting my hand on my forehead again.

"It'll come back, i promise. Just dont think too hard, your headache might come back. Now, you have to rest-"

"Katherine, no. I had my rest, now im fine, see? I promise not too think so hard, but i will find Sedurinna..." i said.

"Who?" she asked.

"Sedurinna, a girl in my dream. I have to find her, do you know her?"

"No, but... what about Raili?" she asked, more worried than before.

"Who's that?" i asked, then shook my head. "Anyways, i have  to find her, she might be the one!"

Before she could protest, i ran off and set out to find Sedurinna. But, at the back of my mind, i still had the idea was forgetting something...

Something important.

It was too early in the morning, no one was outside except maybe just a few. I looked for any sign of a beautiful girl, but there wasnt any.

I decided to head over to the lake and see if i could find Sedurinna there. I saw none. Maybe it was too early in the morning, or maybe there was  no beautiful girl, and it was only just a dream.

I began to panic. She has to be real, she has to . But before i thought everything was a lie, and when i started to remember, she  showed up.

She was beautiful, she had to be Sedurinna. She had curly red hair and green eyes. She seemed to be controlling the running water. Amazing. I ran towards her and stared at her in awe.

When she saw me, she smiled.

"Sup' Nico..." she said.

"Sedurinna!" i said, "I've found you!"

Before she could answer, i gave her a hug. Suddenly, a blast of cold water hit me right in the face. When i recovered, Sedurinna seemed to be fine, but looked frightened.

"Sedurinna, are you alright?" i asked.

"What the hell, Nico!? Im calling Raili. Right. Now!"

I frowned, who was this Raili person? Why was everyone mentioning her?

"No need to worry, Sedurinna-"

"Stop CALLING me that!"

I just chuckled.

"Youre so beautiful when youre mad," i said.

"WHAT. DID. YOU. CALL. ME!? Thats it! Im calling Raili!"

Before i could comfort my poor Sedurinna, she ran off to the Apollo Cabin.

I ran off to get her and managed to catch up with her. I tried to put my hands on her waist to stop her when somebody hit the hilt of their sword on my chest.

I stumbled and fell on my back.

"What do you think youre doing with my sister, Nico!?"  i heard a familiar voice say.

I stood up and came face-to-face with Percy.

"None of your business! Now give me back my poor Sedurinna!"

"Who?" he said, confused.

"He's gone mad. I'll go get Raili, you stay here and make sure Nico doesnt go anywhere." Sedurinna said.
