The second I finished getting changed into my pyjamas I picked up my phone to see if I had any texts or calls from Dan, he had left me two texts.

Dan💙: can you meet me at Regent's Park in 1 hour? It's for our date!

Dan💙: can't wait to see you again x

As much as I wanted to see Dan again, the thought of getting changed out of my soft pyjamas just after I got into them just didn't agree with me. Oh well, I'll do it for Dan.

I changed out of my adventure time pjs and into my blue and white polka dot shirt and black jeans. I looked at myself in the mirror, I wanted to look perfect for my first proper date with Dan. I straightened the collar of my shirt, grabbed my phone and house keys from my bedside table and shoved my keys into my pockets.

I called Dan and he picked up immediately "hey Dan, I'm on my way to the park now, can't wait to see you there" I started to get butterflies in my stomach "ok, see you there" just hearing his voice put a massive grin on my face.

I hopped in my crappy old car and started up the engine, the radio started to play some songs I didn't like so I picked up the aux cord and plugged my phone in. Heavydirtysoul by tøp started to play and I began to rap along as I drove down the road.

It was such a nice day to have a date in the park, there was only 3 tiny wisps of cloud in the sky and the sky itself was a deep azure blue. But it was really cold, I never understood that, how the sun can be fully out but it's freezing cold. Oh well.

I soon arrived at the park entrance and checked my phone to see that Dan had sent me a message

Dan💙: I'm waiting for you by the entrance, I really hope you like me

Phil☁️: I'm here and so do I

I stepped out my car, shut the door and locked it. I started to look around for Dan but I couldn't see him anywhere, I started to think that this was some sort of sick joke until suddenly someone called my name "Phil!" I turned to face where the voice was coming from and saw Dan jogging towards me. "Dan!" I speed walked towards him to close the gap and we met in the middle with a massive bear hug "I'm so glad you didn't stand me up" he laughed nervously and I looked him in the eyes "I would never do that to someone who cares so much about me and to be honest I care a lot about you".

Eventually we pulled both let go of each other and I felt even colder without his warm chest pressed against mine. "Come on, let's go feed some ducks" yes. I like getting feeding the ducks at the park, especially the tiny, little, cute ones. "Let's go!" I felt really enthusiastic when I was around Dan, like he gave me a new, brighter perspective on life.
