We arrived back at my house just as the sun was beginning to set, i wasn't surprised as winter was fast approaching and it was getting darker earlier. I pulled up directly outside my flat and grabbed the bag that contained all of the things we had bought earlier on. "Do you hear that?" Dan asked, raising an eyebrow as he did so, we both stood still, not making a single sound and I heard the faint sound of yelling coming from inside the flat.
Without saying anything I sprinted to the front door and pulled my keys out of my pocket, I could still hear the screams coming from inside. "What's going on in there??" I heard dan yell behind me as he locked the car "I don't know but it can't be good" I stated in a stern tone, what if something's happened to apricot? Maybe Charlie payed me another visit.
I pushed the door wide open and darted down the hall, throwing the bag to the side of the entrance carelessly. The screams got louder the closer I got to apricots room and I feared that someone had broken in, or maybe she had hurt herself "FUCK ME" I stopped dead in my tracks, did I hear that correctly? I approached her room more cautiously, not wanting to interrupt anything bad. "IM COMING APRICOT!" Dan yelled as I heard his loud, stampeding footsteps approach at lightening speed "no dan wait-!" Before I could stop him he had already charged into her room "AHH!" He immediately ran back out again, stumbling over his own feet in what I assumed to be shock.
Since the damage was already done I put my hands over my eyes and stepped foot inside her room "is it ok if I-" I sheepishly uncovered my eyes and was greeted by apricots and Chris's mortified faces. They were both naked under the sheets and judging by the position they were in, they were fucking. "OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY" I backed out the room as fast as I possibly could and slammed the door shut behind me, trying to process what I had just seen.
"Did you see that??" Dan whispered to me in a disbelieving tone "unfortunately" it took my a couple of minutes to fully process what I had just witnessed, I was officially shook. "What do we do??" I whisper-yelled at dan, hearing apricot and Chris mumble from behind the door "let's just go into the living room while they get themselves sorted out" I nodded in agreement and swiftly followed dan down the hall to the living room, I was not looking forward to how awkward it will be to confront them.
"What do we say?" I mumbled to dan, my heart was still pounding in my chest, I was so embarrassed I can't even imagine how apricot and Chris feel. Before dan could respond Chris popped his head around the door and sheepishly stepped into the room, apricot following him silently. "So.. did you guys have a nice evening?" Apricot asked, trying to get rid of the awkward silence "yeah, how about you?" Dan replied and I tried as hard as possible not to cringe, this is going to be a weird conversation.
