Once Dan had finished the pancakes and I had layer out all the toppings we started to cover our pancakes in Nutella, blueberries, strawberries, bananas and other stuff like that. "Can you pass me the golden syrup?" I nodded and grabbed it from the coffee table in front of us. We were currently sat in dans living room watching Sherlock and eating breakfast.
"You know what we should do today?" I said, my mouth full of food "what?" I've wanted to make a video with Dan for ages now and we have enough crazy stories to share with people "we should make a video!" I have been wanting to collab with Dan ever since I found out he was a youtuber and it seemed to be the perfect time. "Sure, we can even tell people we're dating you want" he took a bite of his pancake and my heart skipped a beat, I wonder if people would like us being together.
"Ok then, we should probably make that a separate video first" I started to pay more attention to the tv as it was reaching an important part in the episode "let's do it".
Skipping all the boring equipment setting up bits
"Right, are you ready to go?" Dan and I, well mostly Dan, had set up all the recording equipment ready to film a video and I was so nervous my heart felt like it was trying to jump out of my chest "yeah, let's go!" As Dan was leaning over to the camera to press record I suddenly caught sight of a mask by his wardrobe and an idea popped into my head "wait!" I reached my hand out to his arm, pulling him away from the camera "what if I stand out of frame and you say 'I have someone here I'd like you all to meet, my girlfriend!' And then I come on wearing that mask!" I pointed over to Dans wardrobe where a mask of the queen was hanging on one of the door knobs "Yes! That'll be hilarious!".
I quickly darted over the the wardrobe, grabbed the mask, pulled it off the door handles and ran back to the side of the camera, looking at the viewfinder to see if I was out of frame. "Are we good to go?" I nodded and slipped the mask over my head, giving him the thumbs up when it was on properly. "Ok in three, two, one.." he leaned over to press record, pressed it and then sat back down, clapping his hands quickly to do an audio check.
"Hello internet, so today's video is going to be a bit different from what I usually upload, today I'd like you to meet my girlfriend" we both started to giggle as he beckoned me to sit next to him. "Hello dearies!" I crowed in my best posh old lady accent which wasn't very good at all, Dan just burst out laughing and so I turned to face him. "Don't laugh at your girlfriend Danny! Now give me a kiss" I started to lean over towards him making over dramatic kissing sound affects "stop stop stop!" He chuckled, pushing me back as he did.
Once we were both sat back upright Dan slid his arm around my shoulder, shuffling closer to me as he did "that's right, I am dating the queen" he tried to keep a stern expression but after a couple of seconds his stern frown was replaced with a toothy grin. I pulled the mask off my face and gave Dan a light peck on the cheek "you're not dating the queen but you're dating a queen" Dan just looks over at me with a blank expression and I began to giggle "really phil?" The more annoyed he got the funnier it seemed "I saw my opportunity and I took it" that had to be the funniest thing I've said all month.
"So yeah we're dating, hurray!" Dan cheered, I felt so happy to finally be telling everyone about us because I wanted to look at all of the fan art people will, hopefully, make. "And just so you know we've been dating for about 2-3 months I think" I nodded in agreement and couldn't help but remember the fateful night when we met. "But we'll leave all of those little details for later" I yawned, i was so tired and I really just wanted to have a nice long nap.
"Yeah, so I guess we'll see you guys later! Bye!" He did his classic little salute with two fingers and turned off the camera, that has to be the shortest, yet most exciting, collab I've ever filmed. "Want a cup of tea?" Dan offered, speaking in a warm soft voice "yes please"
I bought a ouija board online and I'm taking it to school, pray for me
(Btw, sorry about this chapter being so rushed and messy and just generally bad, I've not been my usual self lately)
