Another month went by without any interesting happening. I had gotten one more tattoos from Donny. A music note on my wrist, because music is my life. My dad still had no clue about what I did and neither did my mum or Louis. Everything was great. So when I got asked to work I had no problem with that whatsoever. "I go to bail. But you stay here, and you stay hidden." I told Donny before I went in for a kiss. Donny kissed me back before I pulled away. "Why don't you want me and Matt to meet your dad?" Donny asked. "Because. You're covered in tattoos and piercings. You ride a motorbike and wear a lot of punk clothes. He would just take you for some bad boy or something. He'd tell me you're bad for me and never to see you again. And he might tell mum or Louis." I explained. Donny looked at me. "But I'm not a bad boy." He said. I laughed. "I know, but you look like it." I said and gave him another kiss. "Alright, I'l give you that." Donny said and smiled. "I'll be back in a few hours." I said. Donny nodded. "Have fun at work." He said.
I went out with a couple off girls from the club after work. "Let's go to a bar or something." I suggested. They all nodded in agreement. I showed my fake ID as usual and got in. "Alright, I'll get us some shots." A girl called Alex said. We all nodded. "Fun day huh?" I said. They all laughed. "Yeah. There was this perv who tried to pay me to do more with him than I did." Alex said who was suddenly gotten back. I rolled my eyes. "I think he tried the same on me last week." I said. "I hate those guys." Alex said before she handed out the shots. We all had a toast before I downed the drink. I was hammered after about five shots later. "It's getting late guys. I better get home. Donny is waiting." I said and got up. "We'll see you soon Angel." Alex said and hugged me before I left.
I got home around one. "Angel is that you?" My dad yelled from the living room. "Shit." I said. I did not think he would be up by now. "Yeah, it's me dad." I yelled back before I walked to the stairs. "Why are you home so late?" Dad asked I stopped in my tracks and turned around. He was right behind me. "Late work day." I lied while biting my under lip. That was one of the problems with me, I bit my lower lip whenever I lied. And I guess my dad knew. "Really?" He asked. I nodded as I tried to keep my balance. "Alright. If you say so." My dad said. I smiled. "Well, I'm really tired so I will be off to bed." I said. Dad nodded and went in for a hug. I gave him a quick hug before I turned back around. "Good night." I said and walked up the stairs. It took all I had to walk straight and not fall over. I let out a sighed in relief as I got into my room. Donny was fast asleep in my bed. I smiled and got into the bed next to him. I fell asleep almost instantly.
"Angelica? Could you come here for a minute?" A voice outside my door yelled. I woke up and looked around me. Donny had a tight grip around my waist. "Angelica?" The voice yelled again. I recognized it as my stepmother Cindi's. "I'll be down in a minute!" I yelled back before I got out of Donny's grip. I pulled the cover over him so he was not visible then I pulled a hoodie over my body before I opened the door and walked down stairs. It was not until I was in the living room I realized that A: I was wearing Donny's hoodie and B: Cindi used my full name. "Fuck." I mumbled before I walked into the room. Dad, Cindi and Georgia were all sitting on the coach. "Good morning." I said before I sat down opposite them. "Angelica, glad you could join us." Dad said. I smiled. "Sure thing. What's up?" I asked. My dad looked at me. "I got a call form my friend Roger last night." Dad begun. I nodded. "And?" I asked. "He told me that you have not been to school all year. What is going on?" Dad asked. "I have been to school. He might not have seen me." I lied. Dad shook his head. "That would be really hard as he is your teacher." Dad said. I just looked at him. "You have not been to school, you're home late and last night you smelled so much tequila I could smell it from the living room." Dad said. "Shit." I mumbled again. "What have you been up to young lady?" Dad asked. "Nothing." I lied. Dad shook his head. "No, you're lying." He said. I just sat there, not knowing what to say. That was when I hear a loud bang come from my bedroom. "What was that?" Dad asked. "Nothing." I lied. "That is it. I'll go check." Dad said before he got up. "Oh, I'm so fucked." I said.
I could hear yelling before I heard angry footsteps coming down the stairs. "Who is this?!" Dad asked as he pulled Donny with him into the living room. I got up. Donny was only wearing pants since I had his hoodie. "Well daddy. That is Donatello." I said. "Why is he in your room?" Dad asked. "He kind of is, a lot of the times." I said. "What?!" Dad yelled. "Look daddy. He is just some guy. He is Matthew's cousin." I said and tired to stay calm. My dad did not say anything. "Sir, if I may say something." Donny started. "No, you may not. Leave, now." Dad said and turned to Donny. I gave him a "I'm sorry" look. "I will. I'll talk to you later." Donny said and gave me quick smile before he left. "Guys in your room, dropping out of school, coming home late and smelling like tequila?! What happened to you?" Dad asked. "I'm young. We do stuff like this. But please, stop questioning me." I said. Dad looked at me. "What else are you doing? What is your job?" Dad asked. "None of your business." I said. Dad looked at me before he walked out of the room. I went after him. "Where are you going?" I asked. "To your room. I don't trust you." Dad said and walked upstairs. I ran after him. "Please don't." I begged as he opened the door. I knew everything I was trying to hide was falling apart. I waited outside until my dad came out. He did not look happy. "Downstairs now." He said and went down. I walked after him. "Angelica Kortell Jane Tomlinson Austin. What are you doing?" My dad asked as soon as I came into the living room. He had my drugs in his hands and my stripper outfit was laying on the coach. "I can explain." I said. Dad shook his head. "Drugs and stripping? That is your job?" Dad said. I could see the disappointment in his eyes. "I'm sorry." I said. Dad shook his head. "I'm calling your mum. And then you're going to get help." Dad said. "Please don't." I begged. "It's too late Angel." Dad said and picked his phone up.
I waited in the living room until my dad came back. "Your mum and I have talked and decided that you're going back to Doncaster and to a rehab there." Dad said. I jumped up tears forming in my eyes. "Please don't Dad. You can't do this. My home is here. My friends is here. My whole life is here." I said. Dad shook his head. "You have no choice Angel. You need help, and this place is not good for you." Dad said. "Dad please." I begged. "Can't you see I'm doing this for you?" Dad asked. "Fuck you. You're not helping me. You're running my life." I said. Dad looked at me. "You can insult me all you want, you're stilling going home tonight. Your plane leaves in five hours." Dad said. "Well that is just perfect! This is so typical you. You see a problem and you send it away. I'm not your perfect little daughter like Georgia anymore so you just send me away. I'm not like what I used to be and you hate me. You'll send me to Doncaster so I can be mums problem not yours. You don't even care. Don't come pretend like you do. You never called me on my birthdays because you worked, you don't care about me or Louis. You just throw some money at us and hope that does it for you. Well guess what. I have no father. Louis is more the man in our house than you ever was." I said and looked away from him. "Don't talk like that about you father." Cindi said. I looked at here. "Let me tell you something about my dad. You're just another number in my life. You're nothing special. In a few years he would have remarried someone else, someone younger. Because my dad can't stay in one relationship. It did not work with my mum, it did not work with Georgia's mum and it sure as hell won't work with you." I said. "Don't talk like that to my wife." Dad said. i looked at him. "Fuck you." I said. Dad just looked at me. "If you won't do this for me, can you do it for Louis?" Dad asked. My heart sank. Louis. I knew he war disappointed in me, and wanted me to get help. He was the person who meant the most to me, and I had let him down. He would never forgive me. "Fine." I said and looked up at my dad. "I'll do it, for Louis." I said.
