"I still can't believe the week is over. We have to redo this. All of us, no matter what. Same time, next year." Harry said before he locked the door. "I agree." Niall said. I smiled. "I'm going to miss you guys. You'll be seeing each other while I'm stuck at school. With bitches like Jessica." I said. Liam laughed a little. "She's still that bad?" He asked. I nodded. "Maybe even worse. She's on the cheerleading team." I said. "Damn, good luck. You'll need it." Liam said. "Just win X-Factor for me, so I can say that my brother won." I told the guys. "We will try our best." Harry said. I smiled before I hugged Niall. "Now, Irish boy. You bring some of that luck with you, yeah?" I said. He smiled. "Always." He told me. I smiled and hugged Zayn. "You better use that incredible voice of yours. It'll get you somewhere." I said. Zayn smiled. "I will Little One." He said. I turned and hugged Harry. "You better give me that date sometime." I whispered in his ear before I pulled away. "And smile, you're cute when you smile. It'll get you all the girls." I said to him before I turned and looked at Liam. "You don't have to hug me." He said. I just rolled my eyes and pulled him in for a hug. Having Liam's arms around me for the first time was weird. I did really miss it. I pulled away a little faster than with the others. "And you, you use that voice I have told you a billion times is amazing. And smile. And try to be yourself. The girls will love that too." I said to him with a smile. I blinked a few tears away before I looked at the four boys. "I'll come and cheer for you. So do good in the Judges Houses, and smash the live shows." I said. The boys smiled and nodded. "We will." Niall said.
"I like them. They're nice." I told Louis after driving in silence for a while. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Liam. I should have." Louis said. "It's alright Lou. Yes a little heads up would have been nice, but it's fine." I said. "Are you sure you're not mad?" Louis asked. "Yes. Have you talked to mum?" I asked to change the subject. "Nope. Not since last night." Louis said. "Did you tell her about amy smoking?" I asked. "No, I'm still wondering if I should tell her or if you'll stop now because you realize it's dangerous." Louis said. I didn't answer. "I hope mum and Mark are doing alright." I said. "Yeah, tell me about it. Their fighting were horrible. Not as horrible as mum and dad's fighting were, but close." Louis said. "Did they start after I got sent to rehab, before they found out or around the time they found out?" I asked. "You're basically asking if it was your fault. And the answer is no. They had been going at it for months. Just really quietly. I didn't figure it out until I woke up by hearing loud voices. They didn't think I was home." Louis said. "God, I hope they figure it out. Imagine if they got divorced. Mark is like our second dad." I said. "He's more my dad, than dad is." Louis said. "I know what you mean." I said. Louis shook his head. "What dad did to you was the right thing. You're life was a horrible mess. I don't even want to think what could have happened if it had gone on for much longer." Louis said. I looked at him. His eyes were focused on the road, but I could still see worry in those blue eyes. "I'm fine Lou." I said. "I know, I just got so worried when mum told me." Louis said. "I know, and I'm sorry." I said. He just shook his head and turned on the radio. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
The scene that waited for us when we got home was not pretty. Lottie was crying. Fizzy were sitting on a chair completely silent and then twins were crying. "Reminds you of something?" Louis whispered. "I'm getting flashbacks." I told him before I walked over to the twins. "It's going to be okay. It hurts now, but we'll be fine." I said as I put my arms around them. "What if we're not? What if we have to move?" Daisy said. "I promise you, they won't do that unless you want to. You will get to choose who you're staying with." I said. "But then I have to choose who I'm never seeing again." Phoebe said and the twins started to cry even more. "No,no. Sweethearts that is not what I meant. You'll get to stay at both places. Just not at the same time. You probably have to live for a while here, and for a while there. But it'll be fine." I promised them as they both cried into my chest. I looked over at Louis who were hugging Lottie. "Are you alright Fel?" I asked as I looked at her. No response. I looked at Louis. "Hey, Fizzy it'll be alright." Louis said. Still no response. "How long have she been like this?" I asked. "Since they told us." Lottie said. I met her gaze. Lottie's eyes ere red and puffy from crying. Her nose were also red. I shook my head. This was unbelievable. A man who I had known for some huge parts of my life, a man who had been more of a dad to Louis than our actual dad was now just an ex-husband. I looked at my younger sisters. Daisy and Phoebe were only six, and Felicite were only ten, and Lottie being only twelve. This was so messed up, they really didn't deserve this. I knew why mum and Mark had to split. It wasn't working out. And if thy stayed together it would only get worse. I looked up as Mark and mum came in. "I guess you've figured out the news." Mark said. Me and Louis nodded. "Alright, since we're all here. Let us talk." Mum said. "Is it mutual?" Louis asked. They both nodded. "Will Daisy, Phoebe, Felicite and Lottie get to decided on their living situation?" I asked. "Yes. And if you two ever need it, my door is open." Mark said. "So you'll be moving out?" Louis asked. Mark nodded. I looked at Louis. Of course this was hard for me, I really loved Mark. He was great. But I knew this was ten times harder for Louis. He had changed his last name to match Mark's. Mark had been more of Louis1s dad than our dad. Mark had always treated Louis the way a father would. He would show up at every football game, come to parent-teacher conferences, yell at for doing something stupid, go to the principals office to pick up Louis, and now Louis had to say goodbye to another dad. I was going to miss him too, but I knew this was way worse for my sisters and Louis. Mark looked at Louis and gave him a little smile. "I'm still going to show up to support you at X-Factor. And you can always call me, not matter what." Mark said. Louis smiled. "Thank you, Mark." He said. "The same goes for you Angel." He said. I smiled as I let some tears fall. "I know, and thank you." I told him.
