Louis shook me awake the next morning. «It's Christmas!» He yelled while shaking me. There literally isn't one thins Louis loves more than Christmas (his song career, girlfriend and alcohol/partying included). He was the most excited of all of us, and that included the twins. I opened my eyes and Louis smiled the biggest most boyish smile he always had on Christmas. «Get downstairs, it present time!» Louis exclaimed before he walked out and slammed the door. I couldn't help but laugh as I stood up. I put my hair up in a messy bun and my feet into some bunny slippers before I walked downstair. Christmas Day were pajamas day. It had always been that way. We were all wearing Christmas pajamas. «Is everybody here then?» Mum asked. «I think so, so let's start!» Louis said. The twins were handing out all the presents as usual. Nicole had gotten me some new lipsticks, knowing that I desperately needed some new ones. Eleanor had gotten me a really nice crop top with some black skinny jeans to go with. Zayn had given me a new small mirror to have in my purse and The Notebook as a DVD(he broke mine about a month ago). Harry and Niall were giving me Up All Night the album and a One Direction T-shirt, I couldn't help but laugh at their little joke. Louis gave me a book about makeup and a new Macbook (for school use). Matt gave me a T-shirt that said Petite, I laughed at this. Donny had given me a book full of drawings that he had done while I was still living in Paris, this made me smile slightly. Mum gave me a hand knitted jumper and a new phone case. The twins gave me a new perfume, Felicite gave me some beautiful nail polish (red and black), and Lottie gave me a new mascara and a hair straighter. My dad gave my money and a card that apologized for him not letting me stay with him for Christmas («asshole» were muttered for Louis as he had gotten the same). I got Liam's present lastly (I guessed the had asked for it). Liam gave me a framed photo of us taken about three months ago where I was sitting on his back while Niall was laughing his ass off in the background. I smiled as Liam had written «Put it on our nightstand so you won't forget me while I'm gone? Love you xxx» on a little note on the back of the picture. I smiled at his and carefully placed it with the rest of my gifts.
«I think that's it.» Mum said when Louis had opened the present from me (a cook book, and he of course laughed at it). «And breakfast is ready.» Mum added. Hungrily we all got up and almost stormed into the kitchen. Mum had made pancakes (with whipped cream, berries and syrup. We could choose whatever we'd like), hot chocolate, eggs (scrambled and on toast), bacon (she even had some vegetarian bacon for me), sausage, toast, coffee, juice and milk. Mum made the best Christmas breakfast ever. Dad would always hire someone to make food, while mum got up extra early just so she could make this for us. This was the last time all of us would have a meal together in a long time. The girls were going over to Mark's after breakfast to celebrate Christmas with him as well. We were of course staying at mum's, watching movies and just being lazy, as usual. «Angel? Is that your phone?» Mum asked when we were in the middle of The Polar Express. I looked down at the caller ID. «Yeah, it's Liam, so I'm going to get this.» I told them before I stood up and walked out of the room. «Hey Li.» I said with a smile as I fell down on my bed. «Merry Christmas babe!» Liam exclaimed. I grinned. «Merry Christmas Li.» I said. «I loved your present.» Liam said. «Yeah?» I asked. «I'm going to bring it on tour, it'll be my lucky charm, just like you never take off the necklace I gave you.» Liam said. I smiled as my hand played with the feather on my necklace. «I'm glad you liked it. I loved your present as well. And, yes, I'll put it on our nightstand.» I said. «Good. I miss you.» Liam told me. «I miss you too baby.» I said. I could hear Liam sigh. «I tried to get my mum to let me come visit you, but she said that Christmas is family time, not Angel time.» Liam said, and did an perfect imitation of his mum on the last bit. «Yeah, well, I'm not surprised. Karen doesn't like me that much.» I told him. «I know, but she will love you the day we get married and we get kids. Because then she'll be sure that you won't hurt me.» Liam said. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of me walking down the aisle in a white dress while Liam was smiling at me in his tux. The thought of having kids also made me smile. I hoped they would get Liam's beautiful brown eyes. «Angel? You there?» Liam's voice dragged me back into reality. «Sorry, I was just thinking.» I told him. I could hear him chuckle. «About us getting married and kids?» He asked. I blushed, even though he couldn't see it. «Yeah, pretty much.» I told him. Liam chuckled once more. «Good, but we'll have to wait a few more years though.» He said. «Yeah, that kind of sucks.» I told him. Liam laughed. «We'll have lots of time to plan it and stuff. And it'll give us a chance to get to know each other again.» Liam said. «I know, you're right, as usual.» I said. «I'm always right.» Liam said. I scoffed. «Nope, not always.» I said. Liam were about to respond when I heard Karen yelling at him from another room. «And that's my cue to leave, but we're not finished with this discussion of me always being right. To be continued?» Liam asked. I chuckled softly. «To be continued.» I agreed. «I love you.» Liam said. I smiled. It still made me so happy to hear him say those words, no matter how often he said them. «I love you.» I said. «I'll see you on New Years.» Liam said. «Yeah, I can't wait!» I told him. «Me neither, good night.» Liam said. «G'night.» I told him.
Mum and Louis had finished Polar Express and started to watch The Grinch. I popped down beside Louis and took the popcorn from him. «Hey! I were eating those.» He told me. I smiled and shoved a handful into my mouth. «And now I'm eating them.» I said after I swallowed. Mum laughed and Louis rolled his eyes in annoyance. «What did Liam want?» Mum asked. «Not much, just wanted to wish me merry Christmas and talk.» I said. «He didn't call me.» Louis muttered. I laughed. «No, but he did text you. And none of the other guys texted you.» I said. «Yeah, I know.» He told me just as his phone started to ring. «That would be El.» He told us before he walked out of the room. I smiled and ate some more popcorn. «It's good to see him moving on, from you know all that has happened.» Mum said. I nodded. «Yeah, he is getting more and more back into the old Lou. He still flinches when I yell and say Brad, and playfully hit him, but Eleanor has really helped him, same goes for the band and music.» I agreed. «I love seeing both my kids happy.» Mum said. I smiled. «Yeah, it feels good not to feel as broken. And to have Liam in my life again.» I told her. Mum smiled. «I know the feeling.» She told me. I looked at her. «How are you holding up?» I asked her. «I'm actually doing pretty good. I have had some bad days and it hurts to see my girls leave to be with Mark, but the way they're handling it makes me feel so proud and then I kind of forget why I was sad.» Mum said. I nodded. «But you know we love you and only wants the best for you, right?» I asked. Mum nodded. «Yeah, I do honey.» She said with a smile. I looked back at the TV. This really was Christmas to me, mum was happy, Lou was happy and that made me happy. I really couldn't ask for anything better.
