"Alright, I don't want to see you for a long time. Promise me I won't have to see you again next week." I said. Louis smiled as he brought me in for a hug. "I will try my very best." He said before he let go of me. "I love you." I told him as he hugged mum. "I love you too. I love you both." Louis said before he picked up his bags. "My plane is leaving, so." He said. I nodded. "Have fun." I said and gave him another quick hug. Louis smiled. "I will." He said before he turned and walked to his gate. "I'm going to miss him." I said to mum. She nodded. "I will too." She said.
The drive hime was quiet. I looked at mum. She looked tiered. She had worked more lately, and I could tell she got more and more tiered. The divorce was really getting to her. "Mum?" I asked. "Yes sweetie?" She said. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?" I asked. Mum shook her head. "You're not going to get a job for my sake Angel." She said. "Why not? Is it because my last job was at Pink Lemonade?" I asked. This was the first time I ever talked about Paris. "Well, part of it is yes. But I also want you to focus on school this year. It's your exams this year, and you're soon taking A-levels." Mum said. "Fine. I'll just help out by watching Daisy and Phoebe." I said. She nodded. "Mum, will I ever get to go home?" I asked. "Angel, you are home." She said. "You know what I mean." I said. She shook her head. "Not until you're legal." Mum said. I sighed. "Mum, please. I miss Paris. I miss my life there, I miss my friends." I said. She gave me a quick look. "I know you do sweetie. But living there was not good for you. I'm sorry. Your dad and I agree. Maybe you can go there for a visit." She said. I sighed. "Will I at least get to go there for Christmas? I mean, it is his turn after all." I said. "I'm not sure yet honey, I'm not sure." She said.
The first day of school was happening and I hated every part of it. I hated going to school, knowing that neither Louis or Brad would be there. Nicole would be there, and I could always talk to Stan, but for the first time in my life, he was just Louis's friend, not mine. "Angel, are you ready to go? Nicole is waiting for you!" Mum said from the kitchen. "In a minute." I said before I double checked my make up. "You look beautiful Petite. Don't even worry. And don't let a bitch like Jessica bring you down. You're better than her." Matthew said to me as I look down at my computer. I smiled. "Thank you Matt. I better get going. but I'll text you." I said. He nodded and waved goodbye before I hung up. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the food my mum was holding out for me. "Have fun. No ditching." She told me. I smiled ad kissed her cheek. "I would never ditch. You know me mum." I said jokingly until I saw here glare. "Right, right. No ditching, no drinking, no smoking, have fun and learn. Got it mum." I said before I walked outside and closed the door.
Nicole was waiting for me in her brother's car. She always used to ride with us to school, so know she was repaying the favor by letting me ride with her and her brother Sam. "Hello Nikki, hello Sammy." I said as I got into the car. "Good morning Angel." Nicole said while Sam just gave me a smile. "How's life?" I asked. Nicole smiled. "All good, all good. Has Harry called yet?" Nicole asked. I smiled. "He called last night." I said. "And?" She asked. "He said he misses me, and that he wants to take me out on a date. And that he will take me out as soon as the whole X-Factor thing is done." I said. Nicole smiled. "That's good. And Liam?" She asked. "I haven't talked to him." I said. Nicole raised an eyebrow. "I'm serious." I said. "Wait, Liam as in Payne? As in tall, brown hair?" Sam asked. I nodded. "I used to box with him. I was his instructor." Sam said. I looked at him. "Really?" I asked. He nodded. "He was good. I of course quit after a while because of stuff." Sam said. I looked at Nicole who just rolled her eyes. It was no secret that Sam had been out of it. He and Miky were best friends, so no wonder he had quit. "He was really good." Sam said. "I know. I used to watch his games. I was his girlfriend." I said and Sam nodded. "I know. He never shut up about you. It was rather annoying." Sam said and I smiled. "Why'd you break up?" He asked. "He moved away. We saw no reason to stay together. We had a fight though and didn't leave it on the best of terms, but you know. That's life." I said. Same nodded. "Yeah, well, it's his loss." He said. I smiled. "Thank you Sam." I said. This might have been the longest conversation I ever had with him.
The school day went by in a blur, all I wanted was to get home. "Man, I really can't handle math. I'm just going to ditch. I'm sorry." I said to Nicole as we stood by the lockers. "Really Angel? Really?" Nicole asked. I nodded. "I'm sorry, I just can't handle more school today." I said. "We all have these days, but you just have to go trough it." Nicole said. I shook my head. "I'm really not in the mood to figuring out what x equals." I said before I turned and walked out. I decided to take a longer way home, this way I could smoke and get in the shower and brush my teeth before mum would notice. I had just lit up my cigarette when I saw a familiar long haired brown guy walking towards me. His brown eyes met mine and I quickly looked away. He was getting closer to me, and I knew I had nowhere to go or hide. "Can we talk? Please?" He asked as he stopped in front of me.
