I was woken up the next day by Niall gently shaking me. I turned to look at him. "Hey, what's up?" I asked. Niall's eyes were red and puffy and it looked like he had cried. I sat up. "Niall, what's wrong?" I asked. Niall started to cry again. "I'm so sorry Angel." He said. He's whole body were shaking. I quickly pulled him in for a hug as he cried into my shoulder. "Is this about what happened between us last night? Because I'm sorry for that." I told him as I gently stroke his back. "It's a-about last night, yes. I'm so sorry Angel, but I haven't been honest with you." Niall said. He let go of me and met my gaze. "What's up?" I asked. Niall sighed. "I think you're an amazing girl, but last night was a huge mistake. I was hurt, drunk and taking advantage of you. And I'm sorry. But it just don't feel right to me. This, us." Niall said. I gave him a little smile. "I know what you mean. I feel like we're better off as friends. I mean, you were amazing last night, best sex I've had in a while. But it felt weird." I said. Niall nodded. "So, friends?" I asked. He nodded again. "Thanks, for understanding." He whispered.

I gather my clothes and got out before I could run into Harry. Unfortunately I ran into Zayn. "Escaping are we?" He asked as I opened the door out in the hallway. I turned and looked at him. "You are quite loud, just so you know." He said as he poured himself a cup of coffee. I smiled. "You are not the first one to tell me." I said. Zayn laughed. "I'm not surprised. How about you go change clothes and then we go for a walk? I'll buy you breakfast." Zayn said. I smiled. "Sure, give me ten minutes." I said. Zayn nodded. I smiled. "Thanks Zayn, you're a really good friend." I said. He smiled. I walked out and closed the door behind me. Liam was waiting for me when I came into our apartment. "Where did you go last night?" He asked. "Niall's." I said. "Why?" Liam asked. I sat down opposite him at the breakfast bar. "He was drunk so I helped him. But I'm not so sure he's okay. And I feel like I don't have the right to ask him why, so could you, like check up on him or something?" I asked. Liam nodded. "Sure." He said. I smiled. "Thanks. I have to go, I have a breakfast date with Zayn and I would like to change." I said. Liam nodded. "Have fun." He told me. I smiled as I walked to my room. I quickly changed my clothes and brushed through my hair. There was no point doing anything with it, I just let it be it's curly self. I grabbed my phone before I walked out. Matt had texted me info about their flight. It was only a month until I were going to see them again. "Ready to go Little One?" Zayn asked. I nodded and closed the apartment door behind me.

Me and Zayn had been out walking, eating at restaurants, cafés, just generally having fun together over the time. He was slowly becoming one of the persons I trusted most in the world. He somehow got me to tell him everything, and he told me about his life, how he had been bullied by people at his school, how his mum was the most important woman in his life, how he had been in love with a girl and she cheated on him with his best friend. "What is on your mind? Is it what muffin you want today? Because I have a feeling you want a banana muffin, you always want a banana muffin." Zayn said, interrupting my thoughts. I smiled. "How is it you know me so well Zaynie?" I asked. Zayn laughed. "I'm one of your best friends, it would be a crime if I didn't know your muffin choice." Zayn said. I laughed. "But yeah, buy me a banana muffin, and a double Americano please." I said. Zayn smiled. "Find us a table, I'll find us food." Zayn said. I nodded. "It's a plan." I said before I walked over to a free table. I sat down and looked at Zayn. He was so nice, to everybody, the girl behind the counter, me, people everywhere. This world was too good for Zayn Malik, we didn't deserve him. "One double Americano and a banana muffin for the blonde lady." Zayn said as he placed to drink and food in front of me. I smiled. "And what did the gentleman for himself?" I asked as he sat down opposite me. "A double espresso and a blueberry muffin." He said. I smiled and held up my cup. "Cheers." I said. Zayn smiled and clinked his cup into mine. "Cheers." He said. I took a sip. "So, Zayn, what is on your mind?" I asked. Zayn looked at me. "I would like to say that this is not my idea, and I'm so sorry I have to ask you this, but here I am." Zayn said. I nodded. "Alright, go." I said. "Alright, so it's been taken a lot of pictures lately. Off us two hanging out. And the management is not so happy about it, but then they had this idea." Zayn said and met my gaze. "They want us to pretend that we're dating, just out in the public. I will be tweeting something about us dating and then you'll confirm it. And they will of course pay you and everything. But Angel, I want you to know that I hate this idea, and I don't want you to do it unless you want to." Zayn said. I looked at him before I nodded. "Alright, can I have a few days to think about it or something?" I asked. Zayn nodded. "Of course. They have already called your mum and stuff, to check with her. And she said as long as you don't do anything you're uncomfortable with, she's okay with it." Zayn said. I nodded and took another sip of my drink. "Well, ask me again tomorrow." I said and took a bite out of my muffin. Zayn smiled. "I will." He said.
