Nicole's P.O.V:

I took a deep breath before I put on the dress. I know what you're thinking, why do you need a deep breath before you put on a dress? Well, this was the first time I put on a dress since Chad. I still had some scars and marks on my body, but I wanted to dress nice. I had to throw a jacket over the dress, it was still December after all. I took one final look in the mirror before I walked out. Louis was of course throwing the party on the roof. There were a lot of stuff that had needed to be done in order for this party to happen. Louis had to warn people, tell the police and then buy a lot of party supplies. Everybody need to help out and Louis put me on helping set up Zayn's DJ booth. "Hey Nikki, you alright love?" Zayn asked when I helped. I nodded. "Yeah, it's just my first party since, you know." I mumbled. Zayn put a comforting arm around me. Me and Zayn didn't talk too much, but he was a decent guy. I gave hm a smile. "So is this mysterious Perrie coming tonight?" I asked. Zayn nodded. "Yeah, I invited her so I hope she's coming." Zayn said. I smiled. "You should ask her out." I said. Zayn laughed a little. "I've tried. She's refusing, something about her last boyfriend." Zayn said. I shook my head. "She's missing out." I told him before I walked down and over to the bar.

The music were booming and people where dancing. I was sitting at the bar with Matt and Niall. "Not a party girl then?" Matt asked. I smiled. "I used to love parties, but you know, Chad happened." I explained. They both nodded. "I'm sorry for that. But I think you should know that Chad will be going to jail, Harry fixed it. Or rather our lawyers fixed it." Niall said. I smiled. "But I thought I lost." I said. "You did, but Harry fixed it. He went to court again you know." Niall explained. "Oh." I said. I was unsure of what to say. Harry had actually done something nice. I looked over at him. Harry were dancing with Louis and I couldn't help but smile. He looked rather silly, but it was cute in a way. I shook my head and got up. The drink must be getting to my head. I looked for Angel but she and Liam were gone. I smiled to myself, they must be off having sex somewhere, knowing them. I decided to go downstairs and fix my makeup. Both Matt and Niall were on the dance floor when I came back. Harry were sitting at the bar drinking when a red haired girl walked up to him. "You all by yourself?" She asked. Harry looked uninterested. "Pretty much." He said. The girl leaned in closer. "Want to go dance?" She asked. "Not really. I'm sorry." Harry said. He looked really uncomfortable. I looked around before I made a decision. "Harry! There you are baby, I've been looking all over for you." I said as I walked over to him. I quickly sat down at his lap and looked at the red haired girl. "I'm so rude. I'm Nicole, and you are?" I asked and held my hand out. "Are you his girlfriend?" The red haired asked ignoring my hand. I quickly put it down. "As a matter of fact I am." I told her. Harry seemed confused but quickly understood what I was doing. He put his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. "Did you want anything else or?" Harry asked. She gave me a bitchy look before she left. I turned my gaze to Harry. He smiled. "Thanks, don't reckon I'd get her off if you hadn't helped." He said. I nodded. "It's the least I could do. Niall told me about Chad, and what you did, thanks." I said. Harry's eyes darkened. "He deserves it. He deserves so much more if I'm honest. Nothing, and then I mean nothing, gives you the right to beat up another person, and never the less your own girlfriend." Harry spat. "I know. I should have left him, I should have told someone, I'm sorry." I said. I could feel tears roll down me face. Harry quickly moved a hand up to wipe away the tears. "Never apologize for what he did, never." Harry told me. "Thank you Harry. You're not so bad." I told him. Harry smiled. "I've been trying to tell you that for a while love." He told me with a wink. I rolled my eyes and got up. "Still doesn't mean you've got a shot with me." I said before I left him.

"Nikki! Wait!" Harry's voice yelled. I turned and looked at him. "Dance with me?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow. "And why would I do that?" I asked. Harry smiled. "Because I still need my pretend girlfriend to save me from miss red hair." Harry said and moved his head in the direction of the red haired girl from earlier. She was keeping a watch on us. I sighed and grabbed Harry's hand. "Alright, let's dance." I told him as I dragged him out on the dance floor. That was of course the moment Zayn decided to play One Direction's Moments. Harry smiled and put his hands around my waist. My hands were around his neck as we slowly moved from one side to another. "You're a terrible dancer." I told him. Harry smiled. "You still like me." He said. "I don't like you." I said. Harry chuckled as he pulled me closer. "Yeah you do, you like me." He said. I looked him in the eyes. His beautiful green eyes. "I." I begun but Harry shook his head. His lips were centimeters from mine. I could hear Zayn starting a count down. Harry's eyes were locked with mine. "I like you Nikki. It started as me trying to get into your pants yes, but I like you. I really, really like you." Harry said as the crowd joined Zayn. I could hear people yell "one" as Harry's lips connected with mine. I kissed him back, my hands were in his curls. I had never been kissed like that. Harry were so gentle, like he'd almost break me if he pushed too hard. I knew he was careful because he was afraid I'd be scared. "Happy New Year." Harry mumbled against my lips. I smiled and brought my lips to his one more time.
