I kept close to Louis the rest of the week. Brad didn't dare to come close. He looked at me from time to time, but I just gave him a cold shoulder. He really pissed me off. I wanted to hit him again, but I didn't. I had slapped Hannah as soon as I saw her. I had also gotten myself into detention for that, but I didn't care. The only thing that bothered me more was that I didn't have anything else to smoke, and my drug dealer was Brad's older brother, so no way I would call him. My mum never left me out of her sight. If I had Nicole over we had to stay in the living room, and there was no way I could stay over at her place. "Oh my god!" I could hear Louis yell from his room. "Louis? What's up?" I yelled. "Get in here and I'll show you!" Louis yelled. I smiled and got up. I quickly ran upstairs and bursted into Louis's room. His room had not changed at all. It was as messy as ever. I sat down next to Louis. "So brother, what are you yelling about this time?" I asked. Louis looked at me. His eyes were filled with this happiness and excitement I had not seen since I got back. It was like the little twinkle in his eyes were back. "Look!" Louis said as he pointed to the screen. "Dear Mr.Tomlinson. We're delighted to inform you that you are selected to perform in front of the judges on the 10th of June." I read out loud. I reread it. "You applied?" I asked. He nodded. "This is amazing Lou." I said as I hugged him. He smiled. "If this goes well, than that is my ticket out of this place." He said. "I know Louis. And I do hope you get to leave. Even if I'll miss you." I said as I hugged him.

A week went by without anything special happening. The day of Louis's audition finally came around. I ran up to his room to see if he was awake. He was of course sleeping. I just rolled my eyes before i threw a pillow on him. Louis groaned and looked up at me. "What?" He asked. "You know we have to be in Manchester in about three hours right?" I asked. Louis didn't respond. "Get up, or we're going to be late." I said. "I've changed my mind." Louis said. I shook my head. "No you have not. You're just lazy. Be ready and downstairs in ten minutes or I'll be back." I said and walked out. Louis came down after about five minutes. "Is Stan here yet?" He asked. "No, but he'll be here soon." I said as a car pulled up in the drive way. "Speaking of the devil." I said.  Stan rung the doorbell before he walked in. "Who is ready for a road trip." Stan said as he came into the kitchen. "I think we're ready." I said as I got us some water for the road. "Then let's go. Our boy here is going to get famous." Stand said. Louis laughed and shook his head.

I sighed. "We've been standing in this line forever." I said. Stan laughed. "It's only been like five hours. It's not my fault Louis is almost the last person." Stan said. Louis looked at him and stuck his tongue out. I smiled. Louis looked nervous. I gave him a comforting smile. "It'll be alright." I told him. "Yeah, I feel a lot better now." Louis aid and rolled his eyes. "I'm trying my best here." I told him. "I know." Louis said before he turned his attention back to his phone. "Hey Lou. You're next." I said as a person working in the crew came over to us. "Good luck mate." Stan said and smiled. "Thanks, I'll need it." Louis said before he left.

Me and Stan waited for what seemed forever. "There he comes." Stan said and pointed. Louis came walking towards us. I couldn't read his face. "So?" I asked as soon Louis came over. He looked at us for a moment before he smiled. "I'm on to the next rounds." He said. I looked at him and smiled. "Oh my god!" I said and brought him in for a hug. "I'm so proud of you." I said. Louis smiled. "So when's boot camp?" I asked as Louis hugged Stan. "In about a month or so. I just hope I can get past the judges." Louis said. "You will." I told him.

The 23th of July came running up. I stayed at home that day. My mum and Lottie went with him this time. Mark had "Angel Watch" as my big brother had called it. "You don't have to watch me all the time. It's been a month since rehab." I said to Mark as we were sat in the living room watching some stupid football game. "I trust you, but your mother don't." He said. I just rolled my eyes. "Why can't I hang out with Nikki or something?" I asked. "Because." Mark said. I groaned in annoyance. "That's just fucked up. You guys just don't trust me. Well guess what, I haven't smoked at all since rehab." I said. Alright, it was a little lie. But I couldn't help it. It relived my stress and shit. Mark didn't answer.

I had prepared a rather nice dinner. It was almost ready when I hear a car pull up in our driveway. I looked out to see it was my mums car. I smiled as Louis and her came out of the car. I sat the table as the whole family came into the kitchen. "So, how did it go?" I asked. "I got kicked out." Louis said. "Lou." I begun but he cut me off. "But then they called a bunch of us back and long story short, I'm in this group with four other guys." Louis said. "That is amazing Boo Bear." I said and brought him in for a hug. "Yeah, I'm spending all next week at this guy Harry's step dad's summer house." Louis said. "Sound like fun." I said. Louis nodded. "Yeah, we're getting to know each other better." He said. "Well that sounds fun Lou. But we have a problem. Lottie, Fizzy, Daisy and Phoebe are saying at Mark's mother place. Me and Mark are going away to try and talk things out. And the plan was that you and Angel stayed home." Mum said. "Shit." Louis said. "Wait? Fix stuff?" I asked. Mum looked at Mark before she looked at me. "We've been having some trouble lately, so we're going away for a week. Only us, to try and get back to where we used to be." My mum explained. "Oh." I said. "Well, I can ask Harry if Angel can come with me. Is that alright?" Louis asked. Mum nodded. "Sounds great." She said before we started to eat.
