Hey peeps, I know it's been awhile since I posted a chapter. These couple of weeks have been really getting to me. There was a death in the family, family fights, living conditions, job problems and now this election....it really takes a toll on my mind, body and spirit. I like to actually write out the chapters on paper before I type so it usually takes me a little bit to post. Sorry about that. anyways, enjoy this super long chapter! Until next time peeps.

*Good lord, I can't believe he's actually coming to practice*
I was the first one at practice, as always, wearing my swim wear and cap. I sat on the edge of the pool, looking at my reflection.
*I look so...pale*
I let out a sigh and started kicking my feet in the water so my reflection could be distorted.
"Hey Eddward."
I quickly looked up to see Preston, who was wearing nothing but his swimming trunks.
I automatically looked down towards the pool. Preston sat uncomfortably close to me. His arm made a contact with my own, causing me to jump slightly.
"Preston, if it's not too much trouble, could you please position yourself a little further away from me?" I asked, still refusing to look at him.
Preston's reflection in the pool showed that he had a slight frown on his face. He slowly got up.
"I understand. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable in anyway. I know Eddy said that I could hang out with you guys any time, but if you don't want me to, then I won't." He said, staring at me with his copper brown eyes.
I got up and turned to face him, but I still didn't dare look at him. If I did, i don't believe I would have the courage to tell him anything.
*I need to tell him that I have a boyfriend*
"Preston," I began, my eyes concentrated on my feet. "Please don't ignore Eddy and Ed because of me. It was actually quite enjoyable having you involved in one of Eddy's scams. I just don't want you to get the wrong idea."
"And what would that be?" Preston stepped closer. I could feel the heat from his body. It was a significant contrast to the cold pool room. I kept my composure.
*Spit it out Eddward!*
"W-well...lately I've discovered...that our interactions with each other have been...overly friendly."
Preston chuckled. "Is that a bad thing Eddward?"
"Well you see... I am actually..." I couldn't find my words. He was so close to me.
*Say you have a boyfriend!*
"Yes?" Preston said.
"I'm quite content in my life. I'm not looking for anyone right now."
*You are a complete imbecile*
Suddenly Preston cupped my chin and lifted my face up. I was soon staring in his glassy brown eyes. My knees were starting to tremble.
"I believe that I can make you recant that statement." He said softly.
My heart was pounding so loud, I'm surprised he couldn't hear it. My cheeks were a deep red, like the color of rubies. My brain was screaming at my body to push him away, but nothing happened. It was as if I was paralyzed by his touch.
Suddenly the double door entrance of the pool room burst open, and the sound of voices could be heard.
I quickly pushed him away and sat back down on the edge of the pool.
