*Damn! I don't have shit to wear!*
One by one, shirts and pants went flying in the air as I desperately tried to find SOMETHING that would even remotely impress the Ice Queen known as Olivia Vincent.
"Dude, I don't think it's even that serious." Nazz said. She was sitting on my bed, leaning on my headboard, while reading a Cosmo magazine. Her and Nat came over after school to help me find an outfit for the dinner tonight.
"I mean, Double D is like the sweetest guy I know. How bad could his parents be?" She asked.
"You have absolutely no idea toots." Nat responded. He was laying down across my bed, facing the ceiling. He was tossing a football up in the air.
*So much for helpful friends.*
"I told you I met them both and they were completely unfazed by my obvious charm." He stated, continuing to lazily toss the football. I walked over and snatched the ball mid-air, throwing it in the ground.
"Yeah, you're a real charmer Goldberg." I rolled my eyes sarcastically.
"But he's right Nazz. When double dork's mom strutted in Principal Jones' office, it felt like the entire room was inside an igloo." I stated.
Mrs. Vincent was stunningly beautiful. She reminded me of those perfect white porcelain dolls that only extremely rich,or extremely crazy, people bought just for a collection. The way she carried herself commanded the attention of everyone who was in her presence. It was the first time I've seen her in person and I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
She had a curvy bottle-shape figure and long wavy blonde hair. I couldn't help but think of sunflowers in the spring. Comparing her pictures to the real thing would be downright insulting.
Double Dork definitely inherited his mom's milky white skin and crystal blue eyes. She even had the same teeth, although her gap was much smaller.
When she stood next to me, I felt so...small...so insignificant. Especially when she stared at me. Her distant personality and cold words towards the principal had everyone in shock. Not to mention that her blatant disregard towards Double Dork's injuries irritated the hell out of me. Yeah, Mrs. Vincent may be beautiful, but she was a piece of work.
*All the more reason for me to impress her... for Edd.*
After tossing out nearly my entire wardrobe, I finally grabbed two solid color button-up dress shirts: one blood red and one olive green. I faced my two lazy bestfriends and alternated the two shirts in front of me.
"Alright, which one?" I asked.
"You would look mega hot in the red one." Nat said, flipping on his stomach to face me.
"Hmm... I personally like the green one. It brings out the sincerity in your eyes." Nazz stated.
"Green it is then." I tossed the red one on the floor.
"Hey, that's no fair!" Nat pouted.
"I'm going for sincerity and vunerable Nat, not mega hot " I said, mimicking his tone.
"I'm trying to impress his parents not seduce them, remember?"
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Nat rolled off the bed.
"We'll leave it to you then." He said and looked at Nazz.
"Dinner at my place?"
"Sure." She got up and walked over to me. She squeezed me in a tight hug.
