"Eddy, you seem... distracted."

"Huh? What do you mean? I'm not distracted."

"I beg to differ. We are playing Tekken, your favorite game mind you, and right now I've beaten you five times...all of them flawless victories."

Eddy glanced up at the TV screen on the across from his bed. He was sitting on his bed, while I sat cross-legged on the floor. Eddy shrugged his shoulders and looked at his phone.

"Oh yeah... I didn't even notice." He said. I rolled my eyes and put down the controller.

"Not to mention the fact that you've been looking at your phone constantly for the past twenty minutes!" I exclaimed.

"Just what is it that you are waiting for??"

Suddenly there was a loud knock on Eddy's glass door, causing me to jump.

"Finally!" Eddy hopped off the bed. He eagerly opened the door.

"Took you long enough bazooka-chin!"

I jumped up from the floor so fast I became slightly dizzy. My heart was pounding so hard, it was as if it was trying to break through my chest.

*Kevin's here?!?*

"Yeah whatever pipsqueak. Is double dork here or not?" Kevin asked and made his way inside.

"K-kevin, w-what are you d-doing here?" I stuttered.

"Uh, hey Edd." He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

*Is he nervous?*

"Can I please talk to you?"

"Of course you can!" Eddy popped out of nowhere and started pushing me towards Kevin.

"Right Sockhead??"

"S-sure... I d-don't see why n-not." I struggled to say. I followed behind Kevin as we walked outside.

"You better be careful with him Shovel-chin or that's your ass!" Eddy called out. Kevin smirked and flipped him off in response. Eddy gave us some privacy and closed the door.

Suddenly Kevin's penetrating forest green eyes locked onto me. I felt my face getting really hot from his stare. I managed to not fidget, luckily.

"So uh," Kevin began, trying to break the silence.

"I see you changed clothes."

His statement actually took me by surprise. Soon I noticed that he was still wearing his olive green long-sleeve dress shirt with his black skinny jeans and all black Converse shoes. He still wasn't wearing his traditional red baseball cap. His gorgeous red and orange locks moved in the slight breeze. I looked down at myself. I changed into some grey jogging pants, a plain red t-shirt and chuck taylors. I was slightly cold from the air.

"W-well...yes. I changed into something more comfortable. I have an emergency suitcase full of clothes and toiletries in Eddy's closet. Just in case." I responded. Kevin smirked and smiled, showing his pearly white teeth. That brilliant smile filled me up with a familiar warm feeling I always get when I'm with him. I was no longer cold.

"Just in case huh? That's a pretty smart idea." He stated. I smiled back at him.

"Well I AM the smart dork." I smirked. Kevin let out a chuckle.
