this chapter is so bad im so sorry

Tyler left in a hurry. Before he left he kissed my hand jokingly, but it was more awkward than sweet with Scott's eyes on us the entire time.

It was lunch, about a week later. Tyler had invited me to sit with him and his big group of friends

last week, and since Kirstie had a test to make up, I figured I should try it out. It wasn't any surprise that he was popular, he had such a people-pleasing personality. They sat in the cafeteria, which was less than enjoyable for me. As soon as Tyler spotted me he waved me over, and I sat next to him. His friends were all so nice just like him.

"Who do you normally sit with?"

"Kirstin and her friends"

"Aww, she's so cute! I love her."

We talked a little more. There was someone throwing a party, a little "beginning of the year" thing, and someone's house when their parents were gone. It was so cliche, and there was going to be so much underage drinking, but it's not like I wasn't going to go.
Soon we got on the topic of roommates, and I mentioned that mine was Scott, with an eye roll.

They all looked at me quizzically, and I quickly explained our not so friendly relationship.

"That sucks." Connor said with a frown.

"Sounds like sexual frustration to me." Mamrie added. I felt my face getting kind of hot, but I just made a face.

"Ew. No. I'm not gay."

I'd already told them I was gay, so it was obviously a joke. It was so nice to have this many people I could be so open around. And I just met them.

They laughed and she just gave side eyes to the girls sitting next to her. "Whatever you say..."

"I've gotta to admit, he is pretty hot." Added Connor. I glared at him. Jokingly.

"Come on. Admit it."

Tyler edged me on and I just made a face. Grace looked up. "Uh-" She didn't get to finish her sentence though as Tyler started to tickle me a little bit. I screamed and jerked away from him, laughing.

"No! Stop! How did you know I was-!"

"I guessed." He grinned. "Now admit it!"

"Fine! Fine! He's hot! But I still hate him." I rolled my eyes and fixed my hair a little bit.

"Oh shit..." Hannah whispered and Mamrie stifled a laugh. Confused, I looked back at what they were looking at. Pants... what? I followed the figure's body up and my eyes went wide. Scott fucking Hoying. Just heard me say. That he was hot.

"I was being threatened." I said, trying to stay calm as I turned around quickly. He picked up my drink.

"What is this? It looks good, can I have it?"

"No you can't, ugly."

He snickered. "Are you sure?"

"Yes. Drop it, Scott."

"If you say so..."

He dropped the plastic cup. It would have definitely spilled all over the table, but somehow I managed to catch it. My eyes widened and I looked at him grinning. He just walked away.

I turned back to them.
"Yeah actually, a party sounds great!"

"Don't be nervous! It's gonna be great."

I reassured Kirstie. Of course I'd brought her along. Kevin and Nicole couldn't come, but we'd offered. Right now we were sitting in the car, watching people go into the house. She nodded and took a breath and then smiled, opening her car door. I was making sure my hair looked good when she opened my car door, bowing.
