"Thank you." The lady said as she took the bowl of food from me. It had been thirty days since the newcomers have come, with no accidents.

"Your welcome." I said smiling. I know Daryl's coming when I hear showers of 'hey Daryl' from every direction.  I feel his arms snake around my waist and his face bury in my neck smelling my hair.

"I dont understand why all these people like me. Rick brought back people too." Daryl said into my neck.

"But Rick doesn't bring back the food." I said.

"You do sometimes." Daryl argued back.

"Yes and sometimes I get praises as well." I said.

"Patrick can you do me a favor?" I called over to the young child.

"Yes ma'am." Patrick said running up to me with a sheepish smile.

"Can you dish these people some food and then clean up?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am," Patrick said as we began walking away. "Wait Mr. Dixon, I just want to say thank you for bringing back that deer yesterday. May I shake your hand?" Patrick asked. Daryl hesitated but licked his fingers and shook Patrick's hand. Patrick scurried away like a little fan girl. I giggled,

"Just remember you were mine first, Pookie." I said giggling. Daryl nudge my shoulder and grinned,

"Stop it. I love you." Daryl said slinging an arm over me and then kissing me on the side of the head. We walked down to where the vehicles were and began loading them for the supply run at the Big Spot. I watch as Beth and Zach share a hug and kiss. Beth walks away without a goodbye and Zach calls after her. I laugh as Daryl comments,

"Like a damn romance novel." Daryl mutters.

"You and Bella aren't any better." Zach said back defensively. I laughed.

"Alright are we ready?" I asked everyone as closed the hatch to the car. We all hoped in the car. Me, bob, Tyreese, Daryl, and Zach all hoped in the car. The car ride was silent until Zach began naming off the things Daryl was before the apocalypse.

"A FBI agent?" Zach guessed I snorted at that.

"What I could've if I wanted to have been. But I wasn't." Daryl said looking at me with a smile.

"Alright kid, you get two guesses a day. So one more." Daryl said.

"Ok ok. I got this." Zach said and then it was silent again. We arrived at the store and we all hopped out. Daryl was the first to the window and knocked on it and waited a few minutes.

"An undercover detective?" Guessed Zach.

"Yes you right. I was the best back in the day before all this shit." Daryl said in the most serious tone ever. I grinned at him knowing he was fooling with the kid.

"Really. No way man. Your messing with me. He's messing with me ain't he?" Zach said stunned. He looked to me for answers.

"I didn't know him before this." I said putting my hands up in surrender. I jumped away from the window when two walkers banged on the window. I walked to the use to be automatic doors and pried them open. I skipped back as the zombies came at me. I sliced one walker right down the middle of his head. I stabbed the other right through the brain nothing fancy. We walked in the store and grabbed what we needed. I stopped in my place when I heard a bang. I walked towards the bang I arrived just in time to see a wine shelf fall over on Bob.

"AAAAHHHH" Bob screamed.

"Bob!" I screamed. I ran over to the shelf and tried lifting the shelf. The others ran over too as the roof caved in. Walkers began falling from the roof, they hung themselves from the wires that hung.  Some walkers were lucky and made it. The walkers began surrounding us. We all scattered killing as many walkers as we could. I could still hear Bob screaming for help. I looked around me and saw Daryl standing on a mountain of boxes with walkers surrounding him on all sides. I grabbed my python from my side and shot two walkers in the head. I shoved my gun back in its holster and drawled my sword out and sliced some walkers while Daryl shot some. I looked up and saw a huge ass helicopter about to fall from the ceiling. Daryl wasn't paying a bit of attention. Daryl looked up at the helicopter just as it was about to fall. I charged at Daryl and knocked him out of the way just as the helicopter came down.

"What the hell Bella?" Daryl demanded. I rolled my eyes and stabbed a walker behind him. Zach was trying to pick up the shelf. Me and Daryl ran over. Daryl helped Zach while I pulled on Bob's arms. I helped Bob to his feet as we all began to run out the building. We froze when we heard the screams of Zach. I walker had grabbed his leg and about to sink its teeth in him. The walker bit him and pulled him to the ground. I started to run to him to help him but Daryl grabbed me around the waist and pulled me out the store. Zach's screams were agonizing to hear. It killed me to hear the pain in his screams. We all ran to the car. I jumped in the driver seat and honked the horn for them to hurry. We sped out the parking lot and down the highway.

"What the hell Bella." Daryl yelled. My adrenaline was still pumping through me.

"What." I screamed back.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Daryl questioned.

"No." I said back.

"You could've died." Daryl said.

"So could you have. And I didn't." I argued back.

"God damn it you're gonna be the death of me." Daryl murmured. We drove back to the prison in silence.

"Who's gonna tell Beth?" I asked.

"I will." Daryl said. I nodded my head. We arrived back at the prison and we all headed inside. I went to my cell while Daryl went to go find Beth to inform her of her loss. I went to my cell and changed into one of Daryl's flannels with the cut off sleeves. It was kinda baggy but oh well. I slide on some short shorts for bed and I crawled in. Daryl came back a little while later with a confused look.

"What's wrong babe?" I asked as he sat down on the bed and took his shoes off.

"Beth she didn't even cry." Daryl said with disbelief.

"Babe some people just can't cry anymore." I said. I hugged his back and rubbed it for him while we laid down and went to sleep.
