Bella's POV:

Denise released me from the infirmary earlier today and told me to take it easy. Right now I'm in the pantry with Carol gathering ingredients. Mrs. Neudermeyer complains about wanting a new pasta maker, and wanting her old life back.

"Or you could be grateful that your still alive to have the things you have." I scoff seriously end of the world, you can't tap your shoes three times and go home.

"I'd be more concerned about that nasty cigarette habit that you have." Carol snidely comments. Mrs. Neudermeyer takes the cigarette from her mouth slowly and discards it to the ground. Taking the ingredients that Carol needed we had back to her house.

"I feel like in a zombie apocalypse, smoking would be the last thing someone worries about." I said as we walked the streets of Alexandria. It felt nice to have the have benefits we have here then to be running all the time. A breathe of fresh air with out inhaling the stench of the dead. We arrived at Carol's house and I opened the door for her. We set all the groceries on the counter and I sit at the counter watching Carol cook up something that smells amazing. As Carol pops the food in the oven to bake, I see Sam sitting on her front porch mopping.

"Um Carol, you who have a visitor." I say pointing out the window. She looks at me questioningly as she wipes her hands on her apron and takes it off setting it on the counter. Looking out the window she rolls her eyes as she opens the door.

"Sam what are you doing here." She asked annoyed.

"I miss my dad." The little boy said quietly. I kind of felt bad but at the same time I don't know how he could miss someone so abusive.

"Get over it Sam. Your dad was a dangerous and awful man. Now go home." Carol said harshly. I feel like her losing her daughter has made her a completely different person, which in some sense is good but the Carol I used to know would never had said that. Me and Carol go back and said and the smell of the food hits me it's so amazing.

"That smells amazing." I praised Carol.

"Thank you. I made it for Deanna. I want to send my condolences." Carol says smiling. Just as I was about to say something I saw Mrs. Neudermeyer sitting on her front porch as someone with a machete comes on the porch and cuts her head of. I gasped in horror and pointed behind Carol, she saw this and immediately yelled for Carl.

"Carl stay in here and protect Judith." Carol said as she grabs my hand and we rush out the door.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We need to get to the armory." Carol yelled over the noise. Me and Carol stopped and watched as we saw Wolves taking people in chains. Carol let go of my hand and ran over to a neighbor that was wounded and being attacked by a wolf, Carol snapped the neck of the Wolf and stabbed the person in the head.

"Get over here. We are going to disguise ourselves." Carol said and she took the Wolves cloak and wrapped it around her and used blood to put a W on her head, following her tactic I did same thing. Running through the streets we see Morgan trying to reason with a Wolf. Thinking fast I grabbed my hunter's knife from my combat boot and stabbed the wolf.

"We don't have to kill people." Morgan yelled at me angrily.

"Yes we do, everyone of them that dies and one less threat to my family." I yelled back.

"Help me secure the armory." Carol says pointing to Morgan.

"I'm gonna go find my babies." I said running off in the opposite direction. I ran to my house and slammed open the door,

"Bailey. Neveah. Babies where are you." I heard a noise behind me and then the door slam shut. I spun around quickly, seeing a wolf I grabbed my knife spinning it around in my hand and waited for him to attack me first. Lunging at me, I ducked beneath his arms and spun around putting my knife to his throat.

"Don't think I won't end you right here and right now," I growled. "Where are my babies." I said pushing the blade to his throat.

"I already ate them for a snack." He said as he let out a gnarly laugh and elbowed me in the ribs. Releasing him I grab my ribs and he grabs my hair.

"I think I might just have some fun with you." He smiles, his teeth yellow. He smacks me in the face and throws me to the ground. My knife flies out of my hand and he straddles my waist and wraps his hands around my throat, strangling me. I desperately reach my hand out for my knife. My finger tips touch it but I can't get an actual grasps on it. Struggling some more I finally grasp my knife and bring it up stabbing him in the neck, as blackness starts to surround my vision. His blood squirts all over my face and he falls off me and to the side. Rolling over to my side I gasp for air and start heaving.

"Bailey." I hoarsely yelled, my voice barely audible. I stand up staggering through the house and up to the attic. I pull the stairs down and unsteadily climb up them. I peek my head over the top and see Bailey holding his sister and crying. His body was shaking visibly. I finished climbing into the attic and crawl over to him and his sister and just hold them. My neck is aching and I sit there with my kids crying until I hear the front door open. I look to Bailey and signaled for him to stay and be silent. I silently climb down the attic stairs and with my knife in hand and walk through the house following the noise of someone walking. I walk in the kitchen with knife ready and see Daryl walking around with his crossbow ready to fire.

"Daryl." I hoarsely say. He whips and around and aims his crossbow at me, I weakly lean on the wall. He drops his crossbow and runs to me.

"The kids are in the attic." I said barely audible. He gently lays me down on the floor and runs to attic yelling for Bailey. My vision turns black as I watch Daryl run off. I don't remember anything after that as I pass out.
