Daryl's POV:

Me and Beth hide in the back of a car in the trunk. I held the trunk shut with a rope. I gripped my crossbow tightly while Beth tightly gripped her hunting knife.  The herd shuffled past occasionally bumping the car. I sat up most the night. Beth fell asleep a couple hours later. I pulled the picture I had of Bella from my pocket and stared at it. I missed her, God knows that I crave her touch it's been a month since the war at the prison. That means Bella is three months along with our baby. I miss the touch of her. I miss Bailey. I miss waking up each morning to rub her belly and wake her up with kisses. I just need her, and I'm going to find her even if it's the last thing I do. The sun came up now and I nudged Beth awake. We hopped outta the car and stripped it of it's glass and metal pieces. We walked through the woods. Beth stopped and started making a fire while I tracked another snake. I came back about an hour later with a snake and we cooked it over the fire.

"I need a drink." Beth said. I tossed a water bottle to Beth and she caught it sitting it on the ground.

"No I mean a real drink." Beth said. I looked up from my snake and looked at her.

"I've never had one because of Daddy, but he's not here anymore soo." Beth drawled on. Beth sighed in annoyance. She stormed through the woods. I grabbed my crossbow and trailed silently behind her. She came across a stray walker and I shot it before it could tare into her. She looked at me surprised. I nodded my head and told her to follow me. I led her back to the camp and boy was she pissed.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Do you feel anything?" Beth accusingly yells at me. I don't have time for her stupid games.

"Fine you want your damn drink then fine let's go." I said stomping out the fire and stomping away. We walked through the woods north, we trumped through a field and to a country club. We walk to the back doors of the club and throw open the doors. Dead bodies hung from the ceiling. They opted out, like Jenner said. We walked through the hallway to the kitchen where Beth spotted a bottled peach snobs on the counter. She grabs a glass from the counter but it's dirty so she sets it back down. I picked the darts from the dart board and threw them at the presidents that hung on the wall.

"I'm gonna go find a glass." She said walking to the pantry. I went in the other direction and picked up random things like cash and jewels. I heard something crash from the pantry and turned around to see Beth holding another broken whine bottle and a dead walker with glass shards. Well she didn't get that bottle. We walked to the pro shop side of the club where a woman laid on the ground with a signed nailed to her chest, the sign read "Rich Bitch."

"Daryl help me put a blanket on her please." Beth asked.

"It doesn't matter." I said back.

"Yes it does." Beth argued back. I helped Beth drape the blanket on the lady. I honestly thought it was a waste of a good blanket. A grandfather clock from the hallway chimed and walkers from all directions came at us I pushed Beth forward as we raced through the building, we ended up in the locker room. We walked out the back door of the locker room. We walked to the bar where Beth finally found what she was looking for.

"Beat up on walkers of that makes you feel any better. But I need to do this." Beth said stubbornly. The only alcohol left is a half empty bottle is a peach schnapps. Beth stares at the bottle blankly and starts crying. I grabbed the bottled from the counter and threw the bottle on the ground busting it.

"Your first drink ain't gonna be no damn peach schnapps." I said. I grabbed Beth's arm and dragged her out the building. I dragged her through the field and the woods to a wooden cabin that me and Michonne had found one time. I went to the shed and opened the door, grabbing a crate of moonshine. Me and Beth walked in to the house. I popped open one of the jars of moonshine and handed it over to Beth. Beth offered me a sip but I declined it.

"One us has to keep watch." I said. Beth walks through the cabin and spots a bright pink bra ash tray,

"Who would ever use this?" Beth giggled.

"My dad he use to have a place like this." I said. Beth grabs a bottle of moonshine and offers it to me. This time I take the bottle. I gulp down the drink. I tsk my teeth as the liquor burns my throat.

"Lets play a game," Beth suggest, " I say something I've never done and if you've done it then you drink up, if you have then I drink."

"I've never been outside of Georgia." I said. Beth took a sip and then it was her turn.

"I've never been in prison or jail." Beth said.

"Is that what you think of me?" I asked angrily.

"Is everything just a game to you. You wanna shoot a crossbow then come on." I said dragging her outside a stray walker wondered around as I forced the bow in her hands.

"Daryl stop." Beth pleaded,

"Come on it's easy, here pull the trigger." I forced Beth to pull the trigger and shot the walker. I walked up to the walker and took the arrows out, I know I was being an ass. I was finally letting all my anger out. Beth came up and stabbed the walker in the head.

"Come on we were having fun." I yelled.

"No we weren't you were being an ass." Beth yelled at me. I couldn't take it anymore I just broke down crying.

"Maybe if i hadn't stopped looking." I bemoaned. It was all my fault. Beth hugs me from behind and we just stand like that. By now it was dark. We walked to the porch and sat down.

"I was so stupid. I thought my dad would live a full life, and Maggie and Glenn would get married and have a kids." Beth said accusing herself.

"That's how it suppose to be." I said.

"Me I'm weak and stupid. I wasn't made for this world, and I'm gonna die. You, you were made for this world. Your gonna be the last man standing. With Bella and your kid and Bailey by your side. Your gonna find them I know you will and when you do nothing will happen to them." Beth said. Beth was right I've been surviving in a shitty world for a while, I will find them but I don't know if I can move on from my past and let it go.

"Come on let's have some fun. Let's burn it down." Beth said. I grinned and we walked in the house pouring the moonshine through out the house. Beth grabbed some matches from the kitchen and we lit the house on fire. We walked to the tree line and watch it go up in flames. Beth stuck her middle finger up towards the house and I did the same.

I will find them, I will.
