I've been in A block for a couple of days everything just rushes together, I'm either a sleep or im awake trying to help Hershel. I guess Hershel told Maggie to tell Daryl and I am suppose to see him today. I stood from bed in my cell. I brushed my hair and found reasonable clothes. What? I' a girl about to see her fiance, I want to look nice. I had just finished get ready when Hershel stepped in.

"Honey, Daryl's ready to see you." I nodded my head and stumbled to the viewing room, where Daryl paced impatiently. He stopped his pacing when he saw me and rushed to the window, placing his hands on the window. I placed my hands on the other side of the glass, lined up with his.

"What the hell happened. I should have been here." Daryl rushed sadly.

"Baby there's nothing you could've done even if you were here. I woke up a couple nights ago coughing up blood and Bailey went to run to get someone that's all I remember and then I passed out. The baby's fine Hershel has been doing daily check ups. I'm suppose to get a check up when I go back. How have you been doing?" I asked

"Honestly not good at all, given the situation. Bailey's good by the way he mainly stays with Beth during the day and then after dinner I have him unless I have watch that day." Daryl said.

"Did you guys get the medicine you needed?" I asked.

"Yea, you should be getting better in no time." Daryl said. I could see the hope in his eyes.

"I lov----" I couldn't finish my sentence or hear anything. I could see Daryl's lips moving but I couldn't hear his words. I saw him get taller as my hands slid down the glass and I collapsed on the floor in a heap. last I saw was him going through the door and by my side. I could see him yelling and then see Sasha and Hershel by my side too. The black ring around my eyes became narrow and soon all I saw was darkness, my old friend.

~Daryl's POV~

Last I saw was Bella sliding down the glass and her words stopped. I was by her side now craddling her. I was worried sick. Hershel and Sasha rushed in after they heard my screams. I picked her up bridal style while Hershel led me to her cell and Sasha ran to get some medicine. Sasha returned with some home remidy drink and some pills that we had gotten from the Vet school.

"Daryl we've got it you've got to get out." Hershel said. There was no way on Earth that they could make me leave.

"No I'm not leaving her side. " I argued. Hershel shook his head in frustration.

"Get out now. Bailey needs you and if anything this baby will need you too." Hershel said. He had a point. I looked to the ground and walked out of the block back to ours to tell Rick what happened. I found Rick down by the garden. He looked up and saw the look of hurt on my face.

"Daryl...she didn't?" Rick started.

"No. But she passed out while I was visiting her. I don't know whats happening Hershel kicked me out. Rick what if she doesn't make it. I don't know what I would do. I would have Bailey and that baby, and no one else. I don't know how to be a father, I don't know how to raise a kid, I'm still learning love. She was teaching me it. That woman has done so much for me. I don't know what to do. I feel so lost without her. " I said at this point I was sobbing. I already lost Merle I couldn't lose her too.

"Daryl man, she will make her everything she has faced in the past has made her who she is now which is strong. She wouldn't leave you and these two kids in a world like this, with out giving up a fight. You wouldn't be alone if she die, which she won't, but you would have us. The prison is your family. We would help you be a father. She has done such a great job teaching you love. You have come so far to give up now. But brother you have us and her, because she isn't going anywhere anytime soon." Rick said. I nodded my head and wiped my tears away. I pray she will do better, and get better I couldn't live if she died.

"Hey how did your run with Carol go? Where is Carol?"I asked changing the subject.

"I couldn't let her back with me. She's the one that killed Karen and David." Rick said looking ashamed.

"So then where is she?" I asked.

"I gave her some supplies and a vehicle. She's a survivor she will live. I know she will." Rick said matter of factly.

"Are you kidding me? Bella is not gonna like this. Why couldn't you have brought her back given her a second chance, let her explain to Ty. Why did she do it anyway?" I asked

"I didn't want to take the risk of Ty killing her. I know Bella won't like it but right now she's occupied we will tell her when she gets out. She did it because she thought if she killed them it would stop the spread of the disease." Rick informed me. I nodded my head I was just done with today. I went in the cell block to go find Bailey. I told him I would tell him how Bella was and have dinner with him. I saw Bailey in the cafeteria with Beth playing. I stopped to watch the scene. He was so cute the little six year old ran around bopping Beth when he went behind her and then he would run away with the cutest laugh ever. I didn't want to ruin the moment so I crunched beside the wall watching until he noticed me.

"Daddy!!" The small child yelled as he ran up to me. I opened my arms and embraced him. I picked his fragile body up and kissed his head.

"Hey buddy. How was your day?" I asked.

"Good me and Beth played. How's mommy did you go see her today?" He asked.

"I did. I need to talk to Beth and then I will tell you what happened over dinner. Deal?" I asked.

"Ok daddy." He said squeezing me and then wriggling out of my grasp. I sat him down and walked over to Beth.

"Hey Beth can I ask you for some advice?" I asked.

"Yea Daryl anything." Beth said.

"Today I went and saw Bella and while I was talking to her she passed out. I rushed into the visiting room and took her to her cell. Hershel kicked me out. I don't know what's happening to her. We don't know if she will make it or not. What do I tell him." I asked. In my asking her, her face went from happy to sad.

"Tell him the truth. In this world everybody deserves the truth, but do it gently." Beth said.

"Ok thanks Beth." I said walking away to go find Bailey. I found Bailey kicking a walk and waiting for me. I snuck up behind him and swooped him off his feet. He started laughing.

"Alright come on buddy let's go get some dinner." I said. We got in line for some food and then went and sat in the field just the two of us.

"So hows mommy." Bailey asked.

"Well buddy not so great. Today when daddy went to go see mommy she passed out. They don't know if she'll be ok, but they're trying," I looked to Bailey to see his eyes swelling with tears. I set my plate down and picked him up setting him on my lap. At this point he was sobbing, "Buddy I know, but ya know what? Mommy's tough and she's not going anywhere neither is the baby. They're both fighters." I said craddling him. I laid my head on top of his we sat like that until he fell asleep. I stood up and grabbed the plates still holding him. Beth rushed up to me and took the plates. As I walked through the building I got a row of good nights from a lot of people. I got to the cell and laid Bailey on the bed. I took his shoes off and placed them under the bed. I took my shoes off and placed them next to his. I covered us up and fall asleep holding Bailey. I wouldn't let anything happen to him, Bella, or the baby.
