Daryl's POV:
After the argument in the cabin me and Beth have stuck close, we're all that each of us have left. I had taught Beth to hunt, in case we got split apart. She needs to learn to protect and hunt herself. Beth had spotted a walker and had my crossbow in hand, the plan was to sneak behind it and kill it, protect herself. Beth walked silently behind it, ready to attack, but she yelled out in pain when she stepped in a bear trap. I come to the rescue and stab the walker in the head, I hold open the bear trap while Beth yanks her foot from the trap. After I helped Beth up, I helped her walk through the woods, til we came to a clearing. Emerging from the clearing we walked into a cemetery. Beth stopped and read a tombstone that read. ' Beloved father'. I sat Beth on the ground and grabbed some flowers from the ground placing them on the headstone. I picked Beth back up and walked threw the cemetery, and then we came across a funeral home. I kicked open the door and carried Beth through the place to the kitchen. I set Beth on the counter and we find some soda and pig's feet. We sit at the table feasting on our findings. Somebodies been coming here, it's so neat and its been tended too lately. Me and Beth ate our food in silent until I hear the porch alarm sound. I bring my finger to my lips and tell Beth to stay silent. I picked my crossbow and crouched as I walked to the front door. I open the door and raise my crossbow. I look down to see a rough looking stray dog. The dog whines and then tucks its tail and runs the other way. I try whistling for it but it wouldn't come back, so I shut the door and returned back to the kitchen.
"What was it?" Beth asked looking up at me.
"Nothing just a stray dog that's all." I said in response. She nodded her head and I sat down. We returned to our feast. This had been the best eating we've had in a while it felt. I felt very aware and sad. I wish that I could be sharing this moment with Bella and Bailey and possibly our new baby, but I can't. The good thing though is that I'm not spending it alone. I'm aware because this feels to good to be true. This place was obviously tended to today meaning someone could be close by and watching us.
"Somebody obviously has to be close by, I say when we find out who we try to live peacefully with them." I suggest taking a bite of the pig's feet.
"Why the sudden change in good people?" Beth ask suspiciously.
"Ya know." I said trailing off as the porch alarm sounded again. It was probably that stupid dog. I grab a pig's feet and head to the door, I was gonna give it to the dog. Except this time a came face to face with a herd of walkers.
"Beth run! Get outta here!" I yelled to Beth. I heard shuffling in the kitchen and then led the walkers down the stairs to the basement. One of the walkers came at me and I stabbed it in the head with a pair of surgical scissors. I trapped the other two behind the gurney with the dead guy on it. I ran back up the stairs and out the building to find Beth, but as i come to the road I see a car speeding down the road, and Beth's stuff on the ground. I automatically put the pieces together and take off running after the car.

I had been running all night, I was beginning to get really tired and I couldn't breathe much longer. I came to a four way that had railroad tracks running threw them and then I just collapsed onto the ground. I started crying realizing that I had lost everything. I had lost Bella, Beth, the group, and probably now my sanity. I just wish that Bella was here now to hold me and kiss me and tell me that everything would be alright, but she's not and now I'm here by myself. I sat at the tracks for about a half hour until I heard footsteps and I knew that I was surrounded my men just by the sound of the heaviness of the footing and boots. I jumped up grabbing my crossbow and aiming it at when of the guys face. The men put his hands up in surrender and the other men raised their guns to my head.
"A bowman, I like that. I respect that." The guy said. He signaled his men to lower their guns and they did as told.
"The names Joe." The guy said sticking his hand out. I lowered my crossbow and brought it to my said I stuck my hand out and shook the man's hand.
"The names Daryl." I introduced myself.
