Daryl's Pov:

We arrived at the farm shortly after it got dark. I jumped of the mare and ran inside forgetting about the idea of knocking. Rick was sitting on the couch trying to soothe a crying Carl. Rick stood as I walked in. "Where is she, tell me, now!" I said getting impatient and pacing frantically back and forth. Before he could answer I heard a scream - Bella's scream - abrupt from down the hallway. I ran down the hallway bursting through the door to see Bella screaming in agony as an older man pulled out part of a bullet. "STOP, YOU'RE HURTIN HER!" I yelled clearly panicking. Bella suddenly stopped for moment before she started to violently shake on the bed. "Hold her down or she'll hurt herself." He yelled over the shaking of the bed. I ran over grabbing one of her arms and trying to soothe her. She eventually quite shaking and relaxed. Shane walked in with a crazed look in his eyes. Now I defiantly don't trust him. He handed equipment to the older man and walked out running a hand through his hair. "Who has A positive blood, if we don't get her some she won't make it. "I do." I said jumping up. "Alright son, sit down. Maggie get the blood transfusion started." The brown haired girl who brought me walked over and put a needle and other stuff in my arm. "Alright, everybody out so I can get started." The older man said. '' You too, go sit in the living room you can't go more then 50 yards from this bed." I started to object but decided not to when he gave me a look that said he didn't want to hear it. I got up and walked in the living room sitting down and putting my head in my hands. I sat like that for a good few hours, before I heard the rest of the group pull up.  I went outside and saw everybody as they gave me sympathetic smiles. I just nodded to them feeling uncomfortable. The guy I learned was Hershel walked out. "Your people will have to sleep in the cars to night. And the girl, she made it. Right now she is in a mini coma and its up to her to wake up." He explained. I walked in the house and straight to the bedroom. She was laying their so lifeless and pale, I didn't like it. I sat down as Rick came in with a sandwich. "Eat your gonna need your strength." He demanded. I took small bites of my sandwich not really feeling hungry. I finished the sandwich and laid my head on the bed next to her hand, that felt so cold. I quickly fell asleep.

The next morning-

I woke up to Bella freaking out asking where she was. "Woah, Bella it's ok. You were shot Rick brought you here, you had surgery last night so please be careful." I said gently pushing her back down. "Daryl it hurts, and i'm thirsty." She said hissing in pain. "Ok I'll go get Hershel." I said walking away. I walked down the hallway and into the kitchen to find Rick and him having a conversation about the arrangements of the group. "Hershel she's awake." I said quickly walking back to the room with Rick and Hershel hot on my heels. We entered the room. "Hi i'm Hershel, how you feelin?" He introduced himself. "My side hurts." She said looking at me. "Well, I order a week of bed rest and then you can get moving again." Hershel said walking out of the room. "I'm glad your awake." Rick said walking away. I handed Bella the glass of water I got while in the kitchen. She gulped it down. "I think i'm gonna rest some more." She said laying down slowly. I started to walk away but she grabbed my wrist. "Will you lay with me?" She asked. I nodded my head and laid down with her till she feel asleep. After she fell asleep, I gently nudge my way out from under her arm. I walked outside towards Rick. "So, what's the plan?" I asked. "Well i'm gonna need you to share a tent with Bella unless you don't want to then she can share with Shane." Rick said. I nodded my head saying she could stay in my tent. I loaded our stuff in the truck and drove the truck a little ways from the camp. I parked the truck unloading our stuff and sitting up the tent. I put my stuff in one side an hers on the other. I drove the truck up to the garage and grabbed a shovel and rocks along with two logs. I drove back to my camp and made a fire pit an put the two logs opposite of each other so they acted like benches.  I decided to go check on Bella. I walked back to the house walking in and down to her bedroom. I opened the door quietly and saw she was putting a shirt on and saw all the scars and burn marks. I walked up to her and gently grabbed the back of her shirt and lifting it. At first she tensed up but soon relaxed when she saw it was me. I leaned forward and started kissing all her scars on her back. I put her shirt down when I was done. I put two fingers under her chin making her look at me. "Your scars aren't ugly they're part of who you are they show that you are a surviver." I said kissing her perfect lips that were in sync with my own. I stood up and walked out knowing that I couldn't hide it anymore, that I love this girl, my girl.
