Bella's Pov:
I had walked for an hour before deciding to head back to the group. When I got back Rick was deciding what our next move was, on how to find Sophia. "I would like to go." I said walking up behind him. He the turned around and gave me a sympathetic smile and nodded. "OK. We leave at first light." Rick said finalizing the conversation and walking away to be with his wife. I turned around and walked to the Rv. "Hey Dale, I can relieve you if you want." I said. He looked at me with wise eyes that said he has been through as lot. "Come here sit down." He said patting the spot next to his chair. I sat down feeling like a child who was going to have a serious talk. I looked up at Dale with questioning eyes. "Yes?" I asked. " I just want you to know that no matter what any one says your beautiful, and Sophia being gone is not your fault. Nobody understands what you've been through. You were just trying to protect your sister." He said wise fully. I looked up at him and thanked him. Dale stood up and got off the Rv as I sat in the chair. I sat their for a few hours before I heard rustling by the railing of the highway. I jumped and aimed my bow, bout to release when I saw it was just Daryl. He climbed atop the Rv with me and sat down. "Hey" I said. He only grumbled. "Did you mean what you said earlier, before the herd?" I asked. This time he looked up at me. "Yes every word." He said, making me understand that he wasn't joking. We sat in comfortable silence after that. Occasionally commenting about something. I looked up and saw it was light and looked down seeing everyone getting up, getting ready for the days hunt for Sophia. Me and Daryl hoped down and walked to Rick. "I want Dale and T-dog to stay here, just in case she shows up. The rest of us lets move out." Rick instructed. We followed Rick into the woods. We walked down to the stream to start with. "This is where I left her. I told her to head back to the highway and keep the sun on her left shoulder." I said pointing to the highway. "Are sure that everything you said actually stuck?" Shane questioned me. "Yes i'm sure my sisters not dead." I snapped. "No but you are, ya probably pointed in the wrong direction." Carol smarted off. "Ya know what i'm sick of your mouth, you sound exactly like Ed." I shouted getting mad. "Ya think you got the balls to yell and hit your mom no, huh?" She said as if she was the shit. "Yea I do cause I hit ya last night. Here let me do it again." I yelled charging at her. I grabbed her foot and pulled her the water. She kicked me in the stomach on the way down. I grabbed the little hair she had and shoved her under water. I could hear Rick and Daryl yelling stop, but I didn't. I felt a pair of strong tingly arms grab my waist pulling me off. Carol slung her head up and gasped for air. She looked at me and started to charge at me, but Rick stopped her when he picked her up too. "Now that's enough." Rick yelled. I struggled out of Daryl's grasp, but he wouldn't budge. He finally let me down after I calmed down. I walked towards the highway and saw a pair of small children's tracks. "She did head back to the highway, because her tracks are right here." I said pointing at the mud. We followed the tracks for an hour before he tracks veered right. We followed the tracks more till we came to a tent. Daryl walked up to it ready for anything. "Carol I want you to yell out to Sophia, if she wants to hear anything it'll be your voice." Rick said. I scoffed which caused a look from Carol. Daryl walked in the tent and came back out he shook his head no, signifying that she wasn't in there. That's when we heard church bells and started running after them. We came to a church, except the church didn't have a steeple. We walked inside and killed three walkers. I killed and old girl looking one. We went outside while my mom 'prayed'. "Alright me and Shane are gonna look some more the rest of you head back to the highway." Rick said. "I want to go." Me and Carl volunteered in unison. "Alright fine." Rick sighed. The group spilt ways and we headed the opposite way of the highway. We walked through the woods till Carl stopped and stared straight ahead. I looked up and saw a big buck. I almost shot it when Rick stopped me and Carl walked up to it. I followed behind Carl. We stuck our hands out. We almost touched it when I looked up and saw a guy with a gun pointed our direction. The gun shot sounded and Jumped in front of Carl shielding him with my body. I felt the stinging sensation from where the bullet entered my stomach. I collapsed into a area of darkness.
Daryl's Pov:
I have been listening to the girls bicker since we left the church. I was honestly about to explode. i couldn't take it anymore, I whirled around stared at them coldly. "Would y'all shut the hell up. I don't know why you're complaining about Sophia being missing, blaming it on Bella. I didn't see anyone else go after her. Just shut up." I yelled frustrated. I was mad cause they wouldn't shut up and I was worried about Bella. We started walking again, but stopped when we heard Andrea scream. We turned around and and a girl on a horse with a bat hit the walker that was attacking Andrea. "Daryl, Daryl Dixon?" The lady questioned looking around frantically. "Yea that's me what's to it?" I asked. "It's Bella she's been shot, Rick sent me. Is your group on the highway? Head back a mile and go down a dirt road till you see a mailbox that says Greene. Daryl come on get on we don't have time to waste." She said I got on the horse behind her wrapping my arms around her waist. "Woah, woah you can't just go you don't know her." Glenn explained "Glenn take the group back and meet us at the farm." I said. With that we rode off to Bella, who was hopefully still alive.
