News about her

I was driving my way to the dorm when I received a text from Yeye. May get together daw with the whole lady spikers sa condo nya. I wonder kung bakit sa condo nya pa yung get together kung mga lady spikers naman ang kasama. Bakit hindi na lang sa dorm? I smell something fishy. No! More like alcohol.. Hmmmn

And naconfirmed ko yung hinala ko when i entered her condo. I can see a lot of junk foods and a plate of weird nachos on the center table which I am sure na si carol ang gumawa. And the I supposed the "leader" of this "get together" is now opening a bottle of her favorite alcoholic beverage-si kimmy.

Nilapitan ko siya para pigilan coz from the way i see it, she's trying to drink it one shot. As i grab the bottle, may natapon sa damit nya at napamura siya.

"Are you trying to kill yourself, kim?"

She looked at me with a cold stare, "No Cyd, so please, let me have my bottle." At kinuha nya ang bote ng jack daniels na sa pagkatulala ko ay madali nyang nakuha.

"May training ba tayo bukas?" Tanong ko not minding her sharp remark kanina.

"Meron." Sagot niya.

"Sh*t! Meron pala, eh bakit ka umiinom ngayon?" Gulat kong tanong. Tiningnan ko siya at nagkibit balikat lang siya.

"Kung ayaw mong uminom, tumahimik ka na lang!"  Sagot nito sa pabalang na tono. Nagulat ako sa paraan ng pagsagot nito. Bakit ba galit siya agad eh nagtatanong lang naman ako. Kanina pa siya ha..

Umalis ako dun at nagpunta sa kusina. And there, i found Ara and Mika.

Ars is making a new nachos, hmmmn, mukhang lalangawin na naman yung gawa ni carol ah. 😂 And yeye is making the juice. Hanggang juice lang kasi we dont want something burning when she tries to cook.

I'm facing their back kaya naman nung nakita ako ni Ara pagharap nya medyo nagulat siya. "Achi naman eh! Nakakagulat ka dyan." At pinatong nya sa lamesa yung nachos. Kukuha sana ako ng hinampas nya kamay ko. Ouch! I want fooooooood.. "Mainit pa kasi achi." Ay oo nga. Sorry naman..

"Achi cyd, nakita mo ba si Kimmy?" Tanong ni Yeye habang hinahalo yung juice. Yung totoo? Ilang minuto pa yan ye? I wont voice that out. Mahirap na. Baka ma-evict ako sa condo nya.

"Yep. Saw her while she's trying to burn her intestines with a bottle of jack daniels." I laugh but they didnt. Okay. Di bumenta joke ko. Nagtinginan lang silang dalawa. Not uttering a word. Soooooo, time for me to go. "Balik lang ako sa sala." I saw ara will say something but i walked away fast enough para hindi nya maisaboses ang sasabihin.

Pagbalik ko, i saw kianna seating beside kim. Tinikman nya yung gawang nachos ni carol and hahahahaha the look on her face makes me laugh, she looked around but luckily di nya ako nakita coz sa may gilid lang siya napatingin and nasa likod nya ako, kaya akala nya walang nakakita sa kanya at binalik nya yung natirang nachos sa kamay nya. Cutiiiieee.

Sa sobrang pre-occupied ng katabi nyang si kim sa alak ay hindi na nito napansin ang ginawa ni kianna.

From what i am seeing right now, she really looked wasted. Kung tama man ang nararamdaman ko, i really hope hindi but..

"Ki--" tatawagin ko pa sana siya pero hinila na ako ni mok palayo sa patuloy na nagpapakalango sa alak na si Kimang.

Finally someone can explain to me what the hell is happening. Naging busy lang ako sa acads these past few weeks may ganito nang ganap.

Pumasok kami sa kwarto ni mika. Naabutan namin si carol na kung ano anong sinasabi sa mga batang lady spikers. -___-

Hinila ulit ako ni mok. Ano? Hiilahin na lang nya ko buong magdamag???

"Mok, anong ganap?" I asked her as she push me palayo naman sa center table dahil napatigil kami dun. Dumampot lang ako ng nachos nung napadaan si ara. "Ano? Bakit?" Tanong ko pa but she didnt say a word until we settle ourselves sa veranda. Wow! Ganda ng view..

"Cyd, i will explain to you later. But for now, wag mo muna kulitin si kimmy okay?" Medyo kumunot ang noo ko. Me not making kulit to kimmy is like me not making kain, it's so impossible.

"What? You know that's impossible Mok. Annoying kim is my favorite past time, it's OUR favorite past time." I said as I laugh but she didnt and that made me stop. Waley na mga sinasabi ko, di na sila tumatawa. "Tell me Mok, what really is the problem? Sabihin mo na sakin ngayon coz you're really freaking me out. Pati si Ara and Mika, weird din ngayon. Actually kasing weird nyo yung nachos na nasa table."

"You sure?" I nod. And she continued,"Kimmy is seeing.. K-kim is having this.. " but she paused and close her eyes. Ayaw nyang i-spill coz she knows na masasaktan ako. Actually I have a hunch. Pagkakita ko pa lang kay Kim kanina, parang alam ko na. I refused the idea but seeing mok right now? I knew it. But I need to know the details. I need to know what exactly happened. I need to know. I have the right to know.

I touch her shoulders, she opened her eyes and look at me. Im hearing things but i ignored it. And now, i can see from Mowkie's eyes the things that I ignored is now ready to blew into my face.

"Y-you knew?" She asked me in a confused voice and my lips formed a half smile.

"Not really. Hindi ko alam kung ano talaga ang ano but  if tungkol ito kay Kim, I think 79% tama ang nasa isip ko." I'm trying not to cry now. I dont want to confused the girls. With my eyes, alam kong mahahalata agad pag umiyak ako.

"Dont do math on me now and tell me your thoughts about this. Are you okay? You want to cry? Want me to take you somewhere? Tell me." Ang bilis nya magsalita napatawa tuloy ako. "Cydthealee.." Now that's my warning.

"Isang tanong lang Mok, is this about Mela?" People around me are talking about them. I'm hearing a lot of stories and twitter is one source also.

I looked at her intently as i wait for her reply. She sighed a deep breath before she finally answer, "Yes."

And the night escalated quickly. After makwento sa akin ni mok ang detalye ay nanatili lamang ako sa veranda at nang makaramdam ng antok ay pumasok na ako sa kwarto. I still dont know what to feel right now. Hindi ko alam kung kailan ako magiging handang marinig ang side ni kim. Sooner or later mangyayari yun but i hope matagal tagal pa.

With that, i slept with a heavy heart. ~~~
