/Jaycee's POV/

Dan left 3 months ago. He's kept his promises from that night. He's calls me at least once a week, and we text fluently.

//Flashback to the night of the concert//

"I love you too," I told Dan as he walked into his dressing room. He looked stressed out and I surprised him. He took my breath away every time I look at him.

When he told me he loved me, I thought about it roughly. Did he mean it as a sister, or like a lover. I know I took it as a lover would, because well, I am in love with him.

He walked to me slowly. "I love you more than friends Jaycee. I think I have ever since I saw you in the café, I'm sure I did back in the day also." Dan explained to me.

"Not to compete with you or anything, but I've loved you since we were kids. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I guess that's why you leaving had such an impact on me." I tell him. He smiled. I smiled back at him. Then it happened. Dan pulled me into a soft kiss full of passion and love. It lasted until we got walked in on for the second time that day.

"Seriously Kyle? Ever heard of knocking?" Dan yelled, clearly annoyed. I laughed. "Oh sorry mate, just seeing if you were alright. By the way, I shipped you guys from the beginning," Kyle said winking at us both. Dan was really confused. "Kyle, you can't ship me, I'm not a package!" Dan exclaimed not understanding. Kyle just shrugged. "Whatever, hey! is that camera still on?" We all looked at the video camera, which was blinking.

"Oh yeah, guess I had forgotten to turn it off." Dan shrugged. My eyes went wide, "do you think its still on the big screen out there?" I asked quickly. "I'll check," Kyle said running out of the room. In less than a minute he ran back in exclaiming, "everyone just saw you guys kiss!" He laughed.

Dan ran his hand through his hair in the attractive way he always did. "Uh, well we can't do anything about it now!" Dan stated. I nodded agreeing. I looked to the floor. "That's sorta embarrassing." I state.

Dan tilted my chin up, "no need to be embarrassed," he whispered. Our lips met for a second time that night, and it was the happiest night of my life.

Dan pulled back, and screamed at Kyle, "what are you doing." I looked at him to find him a lot closer than before, whilst holding the video camera. I covered my face with my hands. "Kyle please, can we have some privacy?" Dan asked pleadingly. Kyle nodded leaving the room talking blubberish to the camera.

Dan looked at me. "Jay, I know I'm leaving tonight, and we'll probably be gone for a while, but I was wondering if you'd wait for me." I was confused. "Wait where?" I asked and he chuckled. "Jaycee I love you, and I want to be more than your friend." He stated, serious again. I nodded.

"Will you wait for me too?" I asked him. He nodded. "Of course. Why wouldn't i? I can't expect you to wait for me while I'm out there with other girls, that'd be unfair." He smiled. I nodded and hugged him unexpectedly. He laughed lightly in my ear.

We held on to each other until he had to leave, along with the band. I told my mum everything when I got home, and she was very proud of me.

Dan and his family are joining us for Christmas this year and staying until New Years. We have 2 spare bedrooms in our house, so there is one for Dan and one for his parents.

They should be here tonight and Dan has been texting me all day. I hated that I might be at work when they get here, but I have to make a living. I am now the manager at the Café and work there full time, except on Saturdays and Sundays when were closed. It's Friday right now, Christmas is on Sunday.
