Jaycee's POV
"Jay, will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Dan asked me. We were standing on the stage of one of the biggest arenas in the world with over 10,000 people screaming, "say yes!" And of course I was going to say yes, right now I was too happy to do anything.
Instead I nodded, Dan held the microphone to my mouth so the crowd could hear the special word that changes every small thing, into a ginormous deal. "Yes." I said into the microphone jumping into Dans arms. I gave him a passionate kiss, in front of thousands of people too, which was very out of the ordinary for me.
He proposed to me right before the last song he was going to sing. He usually sang Pompeii at the end of a concert, but tonight, he sang the song he wrote for me 6 years ago. Skulls.
It was the first time he sung it live, and he did it for me. I can finally say, I am the luckiest girl in the world. And I am now even luckier. (Because I'm engaged to Dan Smith, of course.)
It took us a month to get the wedding ready, and now it is finally my wedding day. My mom, Chrissy, Janna, Awoui, Kate, and Sophie were all helping me get ready for the wedding. They were all my brides maids.
I managed to slip away before putting my wedding dress on so that I could snoop. I went and snuck around the corner to see Dan talking to a bunch of people, he was laughing, smiling, and hugging many people. I loved watching him, the way he reacts to people, is so perfect.
"What are you doing out here?" Sophie yelled laughing and Dan turned around, seeing me and smiling nervously.
"I was watching Dan," I whispered laughing. She rushed me back into the room.
"Kate needs to fix your hair," she told me and I sat on the sofa. Kate and Sophie made me nervous, I'm always afraid they think I'm not good enough for Dan. They are two if his best friends.
"How 'bout an up-do?" Kate asked me. "Dan told me you hate wearing your hair down." She laughed.
"I do, I'm not sure why." I said, "and an up-do would be perfect, thank you." When she finished my hair, it was absolutely beautiful. "Thank you so much!" I said happily, "it's beautiful."
"No problem, love." She told me.
My mother walked into the room. "Jaycee, put your wedding dress on!" I nodded.
I slipped on my beautiful wedding dress, it was an all white, long sleeved dress with lace.
The brides maids dresses were silky, black and sleeveless. They all looked better than me even! We were all ready and now it was time. Everyone left to get lined up.
I closed my eyes. "It is finally happening, I can do this." I breathed in and out, trying to calm the nerves that came all of a sudden. I heard the music playing and my mom came to the room. "Honey, come on, it's almost time for you to walk!" She told me. I nodded.
I grabbed the light pink rose bundle and walked to the end of the isle. The music stopped and switched to "here comes the bride." My stomach churned as the doors were opened. At the end of the isle were many faces staring at me. I looked at everyone, Chrissy, Awoui, Janna, Kate, Sophie, Ralph, Kyle, Will, Woody, and Al. They all looked so happy. Happy for me.
My mom tugged on my arm. We walked down the isle slowly as my eyes landed on Dan. He was wearing a black tux. It fit him amazingly. His hair was styled a little different, neater almost. His eyes were shining blue, like crystals. He was so perfect. I smiled shyly at him and he did the same.
I was so mesmerized by Dan, I almost forgot to stop so that Tom could take our picture. As I continued up the never ending isle, I felt nothing but love for the man in front of me. The man I will love for the rest of eternity. The man I have been through so much with.
