The clock was almost about to hit half past ten as Bender continues to tear pages from a book. He's been doing it aimlessly whilst Andrew stretches for almost fifteen minutes.
"Hey, watch it!" I call out as some sheets almost hit me in the face.
"You know? That's real intelligent." The jock mocks Bender but nothing seems to bother him.
"You're right. . it's wrong to destroy literature. ." He mocks as he continues to tear the pages and throw them around. "It's such fun to read. And. . Molet really pumps my nads."
"Mol-yare." Princess puts emphasis on the correct pronunciation as myself and Bender roll our eyes.
"I love his work."
The brain barely gets to finish his comment before Bender is throwing the rest of the ridiculously large book at him. Soon after, Bender picks up the card catalogue and unorganises all of the cards in that one drawer.
"Big deal. ." Nonchalantly Bender scoffs. "Nothing to do when you're
locked in a vacancy."Andrew's glare hardened as he looked at Bender. "Speak for yourself. ."
"Do you think I'd speak for you? I don't even know your language!" There was a split second before Bender fired back, not really allowing Sporto to defend himself.
Nevertheless, Andy shrugs it off and turns to the princess. "Hey, you grounded tonight?"
She shrugs her pretty little shoulders.
"I don't know, my mom said I was but my dad told me to just blow her off."
Sporto continues to persuade her. "Big party at Stubbies, parents are in Europe. Should be pretty wild. ."
"Yeah?"
"Can you go?"
I'm taken aback when the princess snorts. "I doubt it. ."
"How come?" Andy frowned.
Painfully she sighed as though the whole world was on top of her ridiculously pampered shoulders, as though she couldn't go on because mommy and daddy couldn't provide for her. "Well 'cause if I do what my mother tells me not to do, it's because my father says it's okay. ." She pauses. "There's like this whole big monster deal, it's endless and it's a total drag. It's like any minute--"
"Divorce."
I can't help but slow clap her dramatic life ending story, patronising her as she turns to glare at me whilst Bender smirks.
"Who do you like better?" He questions with the intent to make her feel uncomfortable.
"What?"
"You like your old man better than your mom?" He speaks monotonously as though it's obvious. . which I guess it is, but I never said Queenie was the sharpest knife in the drawer. .
"They're both screwed."
The stoner continues pushing her buttons. "No, I mean, if you had to choose between them,"
"I dunno--" I stopped her.
"Just answer the goddamn question, everyone knows you have a favourite."
She gulped, regaining composure. "I'd probably go live with my brother. . I mean, I don't think either one of them gives a shit about me. . it's like they use me just to get back at each other."
"Okay, okay, okay. ." I called out holding my hands up. "We didn't ask for a life story, just a simple answer. . Jesus."
"HAA!"
