"You shouldn't have done that." Mula sa iniinom niyang whiskey ay nag-angat ng tingin si Calvin.

"Do what?" Patay-malisya niyang tanong sa pinsang si Diesel. He threw a quick glance at him then poured another shot on his whiskey.

"You know full well what I am talking about."

"I see. So you have become that woman's knight-in-shining armour." Nakipagsukatan siya ng tingin dito. Sa ikalawang pagkakataon ay nagkukuwestiyon sa kakayahan niyang mag-desisyon bilang isang prinsipe.

A few hours earlier ay galing din ang kapatid niyang si Caroline mula sa study niya. She lashed out a few curses at him,telling him that he should release the motherfucking band boy at once. But in the end, she was dismissed in his presence.

He smiled grimly at the thought. He threatened to support his father's plan of marrying her off to some unknown king kung hindi siya nito titigilan tungkol sa sitwasyon ng kasama ni Calli.

He knew it was cruel and inconsiderate of him to do that yet he was clouded of his jealousy. Galit na galit siya dahil halos ikamatay pa ni Calli ang pagpapakulong niya sa lalaking iyon. He will use his power to make that little band boy suffer. Guilty or not, he will see to it that he will face the charges.

"Wala sa karakter mo na ipakulong ang isang tao nang ganon-ganon na lang." Puna ng pinsan niya.

"You act drastically when you are mad." Diesel continued on. "I've known you most of my life cousin. And I'm having hints that this guy has something to do with that secret vacation you had in Corinths. " Marahas siyang napalingon dahil sa sinabi nito.

"Shut up. My vacation has nothing to do with this. " He shot him an icy stare that would make anyone stop instantly in their tracks.

His cousin snickered. "I did hit a nerve, right?"

"No." But you are close enough, fucker.

"Alright, let's get real this time, dear cousin..." Sumeryoso ang tono nito, and this time ay may hinala siya kung ano ang sasabihin ng pinsan.

"I love Calli. And I have plans of marrying her."

"Some bloody choice that you have." Diesel said in a mocking tone. Calvin was gripping the edge of his table so tightly, forcing himself not to choke his cousin to death.

"If there is an ounce of civility and humanity left in you, you would release that man at once. I take no pleasure in seeing Calli in grief. I love her and I want to help her in every way possible."

"You will not have her!" Napataas na ang boses niya. He never knew he could get this angry with the thought of another man marrying Calli.

"You have no say to that, dear cousin." The wrath in Diesel's voice matched his own. "Nagkamali ako sa pagpunta dito at paghingi ng pabor sa iyo. It seems that I will handle these matters on my own." Inayos nito ang kwelyo at akmang lalabas na ng kanyang kwarto, "Expect to receive a wedding invitation after a few days."
