Chapter 18: "So you're coquetting me"

It was friday It was Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday. And I was happy. Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy. It was Friday, the last hour of the school day, and besides, Bill had called us to let us know that today the bar was going to be closed for I do not know what. That is, although I hated Biology and I would be alone in that class, boring myself like a mushroom paying attention to everything the teacher said for obvious reasons, and adding that today everyone in school had been stranger than Normal, although I had not heard anything, because I had not been with Tris or Jake all day, but I assumed that I would do now, it was Friday and my mood was not going to be ruined by anything in the world.

He went to the living room early because he had to do his homework and he did not feel like listening to everyone whisper.

I walked happily down the corridors, as usual, with my notebooks in my arms and a smile for nothing on my face. Because it was Friday. And on Fridays, things could never go wrong. And less when the day was about to end.

I saw the door to the Biology room and begged it not to be closed. I took the latch with my hand and thanked God for being open as I entered.

  Holy shit.

  Holy shit.

Holy shit of all the holy shit.

  Aaron was there.

  Oh God, it was there.

All my books fell to the floor the moment I saw him and he lifted his head to see me for a few seconds.

Well, this is the moment when the gentleman stands by his seat and helps you gather your books, he smiles at you in that beautiful way, he asks what your name is, you tell him that you are new and he invites you to meet the people , Fall in love, go out together and live happily ever after. He just turned his head back to whatever he was doing.

Great. Always with high expectations that are never met Kels. Always.

I rolled my eyes and bent down to gather my books. I stood up slowly knowing I should sit with him, because it would definitely be a lot more embarrassing to sit somewhere else and not know that I had seen him. Avoiding it was not an option.

I walked to my place, and sat down. I opened my books and my notebook and started doing what I should have done yesterday.

It was obvious that I was doing everything wrong, because of course, I was not paying attention, because I was an idiot and because he was next to me and had said nothing and wanted to talk to him.

Damn, Kels, you're nervous. Breathe a little before you die.

"You know answer three?" I can not find it anywhere.

I congratulate you Kelsey Brooks, you just won a prize for the stupidest person of all time, I hope you enjoy it, and just in case you lose it, because you're really stupid enough to lose it, we'll give you a spare.

Aaron turned his head to me and denied. His gaze was still as intense as he remembered. His face was still damn perfect and now his hair was a little longer and disheveled making him look a lot sexier than he already was, if that was possible.

If you do not answer me, we will never be able to start a conversation. Help me a little here, my friend.

I laid my pencil on the table and turned my body straight toward him. I was drawing, again. I did not see what it was because his body covered it. Apparently I had felt my gaze, because the pencil stopped making its way and his eyes were looking in my direction. I smiled as he turned his head towards me.
