Chapter Six: Monica and Winnies

BOBBY

I woke up at 5 o'clock in the morning. I had the best time sleeping in this comfortable bed!

I took a shower and dressed myself. I put on a plain black shirt and dark skinny jeans and a pair of black vans. I dried my long hair.

I put my Winnie's uniform in my backpack. I opened the fridge and saw that there was a carton of eggnog there and drank a glass full.

I toasted two slices of bread and ate it, i looked at my watch and saw that it was Six thirty o'clock now. I washed the glass and brushed my teeth.

I got my keys and locked the door when I went out. I went to school by walking.

I arrived in school within thirty minutes. I went straight to the office, "Good morning." I said smiling at Principal Harrington.

"Good morning, bobby." He said smiling back and then his smile faded. "What's the matter?"

"Well, with everything that has happened lately-"

"We kicked Selena out of this school, it won't happen again." Principal Harrington said.

I was shocked, I thought she was just going to get suspended. I felt a relief but then I remembered Anna and Trent.

"I-I'm thankful for that. But I really wish to apply the option of doing Independent studies." I said.

"Okay." He said handing me a form to fill out. "I'm sorry about what happened with Selena, Bobby."

"It already happened, sir. " I said. "But kicking her out was too much. Can't she just be suspended? I'm applying for independent studies anyway."

After filling out the form and giving it to him, "She needs to learn her lesson." He said to me.

He turned around and got some books and pieces of paper and put them in a folder then gave them to me. "These are your books for next semester and this folder contains the subject syllabus."

I nod at him and stood up "Bobby wait."

"Yes?"

He signed and handed me a sheet of paper, "You have to let your teachers sign this paper and give them to me after."

"Okay." I said.

"We'll miss you, Bobby." He said. "It's such a shame that this had happened."

I smiled weakly at him and as I got out of the office the bell rang.

Just my luck I thought. Now I have to face my teachers in front of my classmates.

I went to my first classroom and what I first saw was Trent.

Stupid Trent. I thought and when I saw I saw Mr. Naval I went straight to him.

I could hear all my classmates whispering,

"She's brave to face all of us after what happened yesterday."
"They say Selena was kicked out!"
"Selena didn't deserve to get kicked out."
"This girl is just all brain."
"She shouldn't have flirted with Trent."
"Maybe it was Selena's fault."
"She looks gorgeous though."

"Yes Ms. Thorne?" Mr. Naval said bringing me out of listening to their nonsense gossip about me and Selena while he motioned for me to come to his desk and I did.

"Mr. Naval, Principal Harrington said to sign here."i said handing him the paper.

He got the paper and read it. "No." He said looking at me. "You can't go."

I smiled at him, "I'm sorry."

He shook his head, "I really don't want to sign this but I also respect your decision." He said and signed the paper. "I'll miss you. Who's going to ace all of my tests and exams now?" He said and hugged me.
