"Good morning Bryn!" The over peppy doctor greets, walking in the room.

"Good morning." I mumble.

"Your charts seem to look normal, the baby seems fine. I think we can release you this morning."

"That sounds amazing."

The doctor laughs, then leaves to talk to Will in the hall. Erik and Reed came last night, so Ava could see me, but after protesting with them and letting Ava see me, it gave me more light to try and get through this and get out of here.

"Ok Bryn, if you can change into your clothes without my help, we can leave after." Will said walking back in.

"Give me my clothes." I order.

"Geez, here you go."

Will hands me the grey joggers and William Byron t-shirt, and I walk into the bathroom. I change into them quickly and find my way back to the white hospital room.

"Wow, good job. I'll get the doctor and sign your release forms."

I look up at the ticking clock and see it is almost 11.

I slide on my Nike sneakers and sit on the edge of the bed, staring at the beautiful white lilies sitting on the stand. I was so happy when I got them, and then I read the note. He remembered I loved lilies, but he found out about the baby and John-Hunter, and told me he'd leave us alone to live happy. I'm so confused, what does that mean. I thought it would be wrong to talk to him, but this note hurt me, and makes me want to talk to him.

After John-Hunter left last night, and Will walked the guys and Ava to their car, a nurse brought me the flowers and handed me a note. I re-read the note many times. But now it sits in my jogger pocket, because I couldn't throw it away.

"Hello love." John-Hunter sing-songs walking in the room.

"Hey." I laugh, but then frown remembering my wrong previous thought.

No Bryn, you don't want to talk to him. He hurt you. He's your ex-husband, you don't want anything to do with him.

But it'd be nice to work things out for Ava.

No he told me I need to keep her away too.

But he was my first love.

"Will is signing the papers and told me I'm allowed to walk you to the desk." John-Hunter interrupts my thoughts.

"Then lets go!"

Before I walk out the door I grab the vase full of lilies and walk to JH.

"You never told me who those were from."

"Oh, Dale. We just got back in touch. I asked Mr. Hendrick if I could have a special meeting with him to talk to him and let him know I'm still around."

"So I can talk to Dale about you?"

"No, I wouldn't. Someone could be around you and hear."

"Ok, whatever keeps you happy." JH says kissing my cheek. "You still look a little out of it, maybe a nap when we get to the house?"

"No, I'm fine."

"Bryn."

"John-Hunter."

"You need the rest. I know you won't be taking the rest of the week off, so some sleep today would definitely help."

"But.."

"Ehhh, ehh, ehh. No buts."

I take a deep breath, which ends in a sigh. We make our way to the desk where the nurse and doctor are talking to Will about how to deal with me and any issues I might have.
