"Why didn't you just tell me. I would have tried to help you get through what ever it was you were dealing with."

"I was giving myself a hard time. This only caused my bad moods all the time."

"Why?"

"Because I know you wanted a family. A large one at that. You want at least like 5 kids. We were married 5 years and I just couldn't get you pregnant. I thought it was all my fault.
Bryn I still love you." Chase confessed.

As I went to form words, any possible words an annoying beeping noise went off.

I groan rolling over on my bed and hitting my alarm clock off. It was just a dream.

Last night after he confessed why he got the divorce he apologized quite a few times. I had just asked him to bring me home. I didn't want to deal with him. And last night after I found out the truth I thought I finally lost all of my feelings for him. But after putting Ava to bed and then going to bed myself, I couldn't sleep. All I thought about was Chase. I will always love him no matter what.

"I'll take Ava to school." Will says walking in my room. "Maybe you should stay home today."

"Thank you Will. I think I'll stay home too." I weakly smile at him.

When I couldn't sleep last night I had went to Will. I woke him up and told him everything. I felt bad about waking him up but he was so helpful. And after our conversation, I laid down and finally fell asleep.

He never said I still love you. I just wished he would have and apparently dreamed it too.

So I guess I was spending today in. Maybe one of the guys could come over. I quickly grab my phone and text Ryan, Reed, and Erik. Asking if anyone was free for the day. After a couple of minutes Erik answers saying he has nothing planned. I private message him to come over and he agrees.

As I'm laying in bed watching TV Ava runs in and joins me on my bed. She was dressed in her school uniform and her hair was in pink tails.

"Bye Bryn. Hope you feel better." She kisses my cheek.

"Bye Ava. Have a good day."

I hear the door shut downstairs and then silence takes over. After a good 5 minutes of me having a fight with my brain the door downstairs opens again.

"Hey Bryn! I'm here." Erik calls.

"I'm in my room." I yell back.

I hear his footsteps coming up the stairs and then see him in the doorway of my room. He was wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

"Need some company?"

"Yeah, that way I won't have any more fights with my brain."

Erik lays next to me in the bed and I start to explain everything.

"Wait he said he got a divorce because he was making himself mad because he couldn't get you pregnant?"

"That's what he said."

"Wow!" Erik says extending the word.

After I Finnish the story and he processes everything he speaks up "So do we want to spend the day watching movies in bed or a shopping day?"

"I mean let's stay in bed for one movie and then shopping."

"Of course."

We both agree on a movie and lay in bed watching the movie. Once it's over I get out of bed and take a quick shower. I slip on a pair of black leggings, a denim button up top, and a pair of white converse. When I step back into my room Erik is changed into a pair of jeans and plain black t-shirt.

We both get into Erik's vehicle and he heads towards whatever store we're going to.

~~~~~~
Erik and I spend quite a bit of time shopping from store to store and then head to get something to eat at lunch time. Who knew a trip shopping with one of your best friends could be so relaxing and help me forget everything.
Erik is the person to joke around and play pranks to help anyone feel better. Make all your problems just disappear. I don't understand how, but I won't question his magic.
"Thanks Erik. I don't know why it's so much fun to go shopping. Maybe just the fact I can make fun of your style." I smile up at him.
"Yeah whatever. 'No Erik you can't match those shoes with that shirt or even those pants.'" Erik mimics me.
"Well you can't match a pair of almost dress shoes with khaki shorts and a patterned shirt."
"Ok whatever we're not all stylish like some people."
I laugh at his comment and pull out my phone. I had turned it off because I didn't want to be bothered. Which probably isn't the best idea in case something happens to Ava but Will is the next person they would call and he's always ready in case of an emergency.
I power on my phone and let it sit a moment. After a couple a minutes a few notifications pop up. Like a message from Will answering me from when I told him I was going out with Erik. A message from Mr. Hendrick telling me to feel better and hoping to see me soon. And a message from Chase.
I instantly drop my phone back onto the table. Erik quickly looks up from his phone.
"What's wrong?"
"Chase texted me."
Erik is quick to grab my phone that was already unlocked and reads the message. Once he's done he raises his eyebrows and then reads the text over again.
"I think you might want to read it." He hands me my phone.
From Chase:
Hey Bryn I'm sorry I told you everything last night, I thought you should know the truth. But I didn't get to finish. I was hoping just you and I could meet up sometime today.
From Chase:
But if you don't want to I understand.
From Chase:
And sorry again about last night. I just thought you should know the truth.
When I look back up I see Erik looking at me. We both take a minute where we're just looking at each other. We're communicating just without talking.
"I think you should." Erik simply states. I nod my head agreeing with him.
To Chase:
Yeah sure. I'm with Erik at lunch but then we can meet up. Are you at the shop I'll have Erik drop me off.
I send the message. Hoping I get one back but hoping he doesn't get the message. I set my phone on the table as Erik watches me.
"So I'm guessing you agreed to meet him."
"I told him I was having lunch with you and then you could drop me off somewhere to meet him or something." I shrug.
"If I were you I would have too."
We move on to another conversation and a few minutes before we're served our food a message comes through on my phone.
From Chase:
Yeah that'd be nice if he could drop you off at Hendricks. I'm really glad you agreed, I need to finish what I was saying last night.
To Chase:
It's no problem. Sorry I didn't let you finish last night.
From Chase:
Nah it's fine I don't blame you for not wanting me to finish. When should I expect you?
To Chase:
Our foods coming now so a little less then an hour.
From Chase:
Ok see you in an hour. Thanks again for meeting up again.
I set my phone down as our waiter sets our food on the table. We don't talk much as we eat our food. When the time comes Erik insists on paying the bill. Once we're back in his vehicle I ask him to drop me off at Hendricks.
He starts the drive there and my nerves are slowly starting to form. What is there left to talk about. Nothing really. But I agreed because whatever it is he needs to say, he thinks is important for me to know.
