"Come on Chase my appointment is in a half an hour. We got to go or we'll be late."
"I'm coming." Chase says as he walks down the stair case.
"Ready?"
"Yeah, sorry. I was trying to find something." Chase smiles at me.
He grabs my hand and leads us out the door. He had dropped Ava off for school this morning and came back and made me breakfast. Now it was noon and we had an appointment to check on the babies and find out their gender.
"We want it to be a surprise right?" Chase asked on the ride to the doctors.
"Yeah, they'll find out and then put it in an envelope and give it to us to deal with. And I'll give it to Jordan who will get the things for the reveal party. The party is Sunday after the All-Star race."
"So I have to wait that long?" Chase whines.
"Chase that's Sunday. Not even a week."
"Yeah but I have to wait. I really want to know."
"Chase I think you'll be fine."
"Ugh I guess so."
Chase pulls into the offices parking lot and we check in. Soon a nurse leads us to a room and the doctor checks on the babies.
"Ok, would you like to know the genders." The doctor asks.
"We don't want to know, but we are having a reveal party and my sister in law needs to know the genders."
"Ok I'll write them down, and put them in an envelope. Now if you'd just close your eyes."
I look over at Chase and give him a look to close his eyes. He sighs and closes his eyes and I do the same.
"Ok you can open your eyes. The genders are in here. I labeled them baby A and baby B."
"Ok thank you."
"Just make sure to stop at the front desk and make an appointment for your third trimester."
"Ok thank you."
"No problem have a nice day."
Chase grabs my hand when we leave the room and we schedule the next appointment. Chase helps me into his truck and then we make our way to get something for lunch.
"Let's get some pizza and bring it back to the shop?" I suggest.
"Sounds like a plan."
We buy some pizza and head towards Hendrick Motorsports.
"Good Afternoon Chase and Bryn." Ashley greets us.
"Hi Ash." I smile.
"Want a slice of pizza?" Chase asks.
"Yes please."
We hand her a slice and make our way towards the garages. We find Mr. Hendrick and the three drivers in the conference room.
"Yo who wants pizza."
They all turn to look at Chase and I standing in the doorway with two pizza boxes. Soon all three drivers have a slice of pizza half way ate.
"So what are the genders?" Will asks.
"I don't know." I shrug.
They all look at me like I won't tell them.
"I'm serious, I don't know. I have to give it to Jordan so she can get the reveal all ready."
"Really?" Kasey whines.
