when you were a kid
all you had was innocence
now where did that go?

you used to laugh with your whole heart
now why do you fake smile
just for the sake of others...

the older you get,
you're missing a piece of yourself
and why is that?

now sarcasm is clear in every word you say
do you ask yourself why?

you're chasing the empty clouds
ditching your own people on the way
haven't you realized yet?

what happened to those childish stunts
are you afraid that people say
'you haven't grown up'

where are those sparkling eyes
which used to glitter like stars
what happened to your crazy dancing moves
are you afraid that people will judge you?

now don't blame the society my boy
society will anyway tell you
what to say and what not to say
it will push you to the ground
until you crumble like a paper
that is how it has been over the years...

its all your own attitude
did you ever ask yourself that
where did you learn cunningness
why do you get so angry easily
why are you chasing tomorrow
why do you lost yourself in the process

oh, do you want to rise up now?
I say, its never too late
so get up and take a deep breath
cause its not so easy
have little patience my friend
listen to your heart, not people
live in this very moment
and never let the child in you die.
