Chapter 7

WEDNESDAY

"Grannie!" Yoongi laughed once he realized
that we're in the room. He got up and hugged her.

"My boy, you're covered in fur!" She laughed. I went back to the front to help customers, thinking that they might need some time to talk. An hour or so later, I heard the door ring again.

"Welcome to Stay Baking!" I said with my usual cheery tone.

"Um, is Min Yoongi here?" An attractive boy said. He looked to be around my age, maybe younger.

"...He is. Would you like to speak with him?" I said, sounding confused. The boy sighed.

"It's okay, just tell him that he needs to get his butt to Najmoons place by noon, ok?" He said. He walked around the shop, and then grabbed a sweet bread. He handed me $10.00.

"Keep the change." He said, followed by a wink. Then, he turned and went out the door. I stood there confused.

"What just happened?" I said out loud. I shook my head. Boys are getting weirder and weirder these days.

I heard Jihoons laugh, making me remember why she came here. I went to the macaroon display case and grabbed 5 almond macarons, putting them in the little baggy I'm sure she has a ton of.

Jihoon came from out the back door, followed by Yoongi who was trying to keep Alec and Beau inside.

"I must go sweetie, I have shows to catch up on." Jihoon laughed, making me nod and smile.

"Of course. I got your macarons packed and ready." I said, holding up the said- bag.

"Oh you're so kind, but I didn't bring any money today!" she said, looking sad.

"How about It's on the house today." I said with a small grin. She sighed happily.

"Yoongi if you don't marry this girl I swear, id be so sad." She said, taking the bag from my hands. We both started to blush, making her laugh.

"Bye, lovebirds!" She said, then walked onto the busy streets. I awkwardly took a sip of my now cold English Toffee, completely forgetting about it. I cleared my throat, making Yoongi look at me.

"before I forget, someone came by and gave me a message for you."I said, throwing out my empty cup. He nodded for me to go on.

I tried my hardest to imitate the boy that came in. "Get your butt to Namjoons place by noon." I said. He started to laugh.

"Was the guy this tall." He said, going just below his neck.

"Roughly." I shrugged.

"Very handsome face." He said

"Not my style, but yes a VERY handsome face." I chuckled.

"Squish cheeks?" He said while squishing his cheeks together. I put my hand to my mouth as I laughed, and nodded.

"Probably Jimin. What time is it now?" He said, then looked at the clock above our heads. 10:00.

"Two hours passed already?!" I blurted.

"I guess so." He chuckled. "I gotta head to work now, so I'll see you soon?" He said, starting to walk out. I nodded with a smile on my face.

"Oh, before you go, do you want anything?" I gestured around the shop.

"You know, as thanks for watching the dogs while I dealt with people." I chuckled.

He shrugged, then walked to the macaron display. He grabbed 4 chocolate ones, the last ones of the batch. I gotta make more...

"How much?" He said, walking up the counter while pulling out his wallet.

"$0.00. I owe you that much. Just make sure to have one here, I wanna see your reaction." I smiled.

"You didn't poison this, right?" He questioned. I laughed.

"Nah, would've been a hell of a story though." I chuckled, making him laugh.

He took a bite and his eyes widened, making me smile widely.

"These taste like god himself made it. I'm in love." He kept mumbling, chewing on his treat. I laughed, blushing a little. I looked at the clock again, and back outside. There wasn't a lot of people around, so it'll be a good time to walk.

"Do you want to walk the dogs with me to wherever you're going?" I said, grabbing the leashes. He thought about it for a moment.

"Sure. Im just going to my friend Namjoons house. Might as well since they want me there anyways." He laughed. I nodded and went to the back to grab the dogs leashes. When I got to the back, I gasped.

"Boys! Who did this?!" I yelled, making them both whimper. The signs were all teared, their food I brought all over the floor. I sat down in front of both of them.

"Beau, was this you?" I said sternly. He kept putting his paw up, making me almost loose character. I stared at him for a good 10 seconds before coming to the conclusion that he didn't do it.

"Alec?" I said, making him go down on his stomach and whimper. I went down to eye level with him and he wouldn't look into my eyes.

"Aha! I've found the culprit!" I suddenly yelled, making him bark and get up. I made him look into my eyes.

"Alec, we don't do that, ok? Next time you do, no treats for an entire week!" I said, shaking my finger at him.

"No treats for a week?! That's too cruel Soojung!" Yoongi said behind me, making me jump.

"Jeez! You want me to get a heart attack or something!" I said, holding my chest. He started to laugh a lot.

He was so different from when I first met him!

"Yeah, yeah, it's so funny to see me panic." I rolled my eyes with a smile. I put the leashes on the dogs, making them go crazy.

"As much as I wanna leave you guys here as punishment, I promised Yoongi that he can walk you guys. So thank him!" I said, pointing at Yoongi. They barked and ran to him, dragging me along.

"Elizabeth sweetie, we'll be back!" I picked her up and gave her a big hug and kiss, her purring against me.
I put her back down in the back room,and she got comfy on my sweater I brought over just in case it got chilly.

"Lets go?" Yoongi said, holding out his hand.

"Lets!" I placed the leashes in his hand. I thought that was all he wanted, so I got surprised when he started to hold my hand. We were both blushing, but it felt...nice. It felt warm.

We walked out of the store, and I taped up the sign that said.

"Be back in an Hour!"

I breathed in the beautiful fresh air, and smiled up at the sky. I could feel Yoongi's eyes on me, making me open mine up again and turn to him. He turned away as soon as I did, blush evident on his delicate face. I smiled to myself.

Am I already falling for Min Yoongi?
