WEDNESDAY
~Normal POV~
As I walked up to the store, someone crashed into me.
"Oh I'm sor- Sungoh?" I said, catching myself whisper his name. His cheeks were stained with tears, his eyes red.
"Hi." He said weakly. I pulled him inside, put the dogs in the back and got him a tissue box and a freshly baked croissant- his favourite (IDKIDK)
"Thanks." He said, dabbing his tears away. (Dab boi)
"Do you wanna tell me what happened?" I said in a soft voice. He was about to start talking about it, but he bursted into tears again.
"O-ok, calm down." I said, trying to console him. I awkwardly hugged him, and he clung to me, no doubt soaking my shirt in tears.
"I-it's Kisu! He got sick again and we don't know if he'll get better this time." He said in a soft whisper.(I RAN OUT OF NAMES OK BYE)
"Oh, Sungoh." I said, patting his back. Kisu was his younger brother, who easily gets sick. Not just a small cold sick, but deadly sick. I bit my lip and sighed.
" I got a question." I said. He nodded, so I took that as my cue to go on. "Why'd you come to me when you have Yuna?" I said, saying the question that's been running through my mind. He sighed and detached himself from me.
"We broke up." He said, staring at the floor. I gasped.
"Why?" I said carefully, not sure if he was still emotional about it all.
"Turns out she did the same thing to me as I did to you." He said, laughing with no emotion. I frowned.
"Oh." I said, turning away.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know it'll feel so terrible." He said in a small voice. I chuckled.
"You didn't know that it'll break your heart to see the person you love, fall in love with someone else that you once considered a friend, family even?" I said, sarcasm heavy in my voice. He looked close to tears again, making me sigh. "Sorry, it's just a little unbelievable that you didn't know how hard it was." I murmured. He sighed and pat my back.
"It's ok, and trust me. The only time I've ever felt heartbroken before this was when I saw your face when we told you." He said, getting quieter word by word. I remembered that day like it was yesterday.
"Y-you what?" I whispered, tears falling down my face
"We're sorry we didn't tell you before, but we just didn't want to see you upset." Sungoh said.
I was walking down the street to go to the orphanage, when I bumped into my ex-boyfriend and my ex-best friend.
"So instead you continued to say you loved me and when I wasn't with you you'd say it to someone else." I almost screamed. They both looked down.
"I'm out of here." I said, and turned to the opposite direction, walking away from the lies.
"Hey, don't start thinking about that." He said, as if reading my mind. I looked at him with fresh tears in my eyes.
"Sorry, kinda hard not to" I shrugged. He hugged me this time, and I didn't pull away. After a few moments, I pulled away from his embrace and stood up.
"We can both move on from our past heartbreaks, can't we?" I said in a determined tone. He shrugged, making me hit his shoulder.
"I need words, boy! Positive ones at that!" I said, surprising him.
"Y-yes?" He said. I raised my fist, awaiting a fist pump. He sighed, but did it anyways.
"If I'm being completely honest, I'm already on that path." I said, blushing and thinking of Yoongi. He wiggled his eyebrows.
"What's his name?" He asked, and I told him everything. And I mean everything.
"It's like I'm falling in love with him already! But, how? It took me, what, 2 years to start falling in love with you?" I said. Truthfully, Sungoh, Yuna and I were friends since first grade. Me and Sungoh only started dating at the end of our last year.
He shrugged. "Well, I gotta go off now, thank you for the croissant." He said, smiling at me and getting up. I smiled back and walked him to the front door.
"Come by soon and tell me how Kisu is, ok?" I said, opening the door for him.
"Yeah, of course. Hey, do you wanna go see him Sunday?" He said, making me nod.
"Sure, that's the only day I'd give myself off." I laughed. He nodded.
"Ok, I'll pick you up at 9 am, I got somewhere to be at 12 so it can't be any later then that, ok?" He said, pointing at me sternly. I laughed and waved him off.
"Ok, ok! See you later, weirdo." I said, pushing him out. He waved his hand and stuck his tongue out, making me giggle slightly.
"Who was that?" a voice said behind me, making me scream. I turned around and laughed.
"Min Yoongi! What did I say about scaring me?!" I chuckled and slapped his arm. He shrugged with a smile. Then he opened his arms up and pouted.
"Fwogive me?" He said in a cute voice. I giggled and went into his arms, hugging him. This was the first time I hugged him, and it made me realize I wanted to do it more.
"I'm sorry, but are you the owner of this bakery?" A mans voice said behind me. I released Yoongi from my arms and turned around, bowing.
"Yes, I'm sorry I was in your way. I'll be there in just a second to help you." I said politely.
"Such a nice young lady." The old man said and walked inside.
"I get it, you need to go to work. Are you free Sunday afternoon?" Yoongi said, while walking backwards slowly.
"Yeah, after 12. Why?" I asked.
"I'm picking you up at 1, dress nicely!" He said loudly, then turned around and ran away. I chuckled and went inside to help the customer.
He came up to the counter and I tallied up his order. I couldn't stop smiling, awaiting Sunday.
