Third Person POV

Danny was once again, surrounded by darkness. He sighed, "Seriously Dan? This is getting old. Would it kill you to change the scenery? Or would it mess with your 'bad guy' vibe?". No response came. The young halfa was surprised. Letting his right hand become alight with glowing green flames, Danny used it as a torch to walk through the darkness. "Yoo-hoo? Here evil-me-from-a-really-messed-up-future," he called. Still no answer. That was odd. Before he could shout another quip, the teen was blinded by a bright light in front of him. The flames on his hand went out as Danny shielded his eyes with his arm and took a few steps back.

"Hello young one, I have been expecting you." A female's voice said, echoing around the young hero. The light began to dim and a figure materialized in front of it. It looked to be a female ghost. She had long, flowing white hair that floated as if it had no gravity. She wore long, strapless golden dress. Her skin was a pure white color and her soft eyes shone gold. Her face was narrow and her body frame was petite. She hovered just a few feet above the ground as she steadily approached Danny. He felt like he knew her from somewhere.... like from the pages of a book.

"Chiara," the halfa whispered in awe.

She smiled and chuckled softly, her laugh echoing around them, "Yes little one. I am Chiara, the first to ever grace the Realm of the Dead, or as you call it, the Ghost Zone."

Danny's eyes widened. He was in the presence of the very first ghost to ever exist. The one to create the Day of First Death. He stared at her. She was beautiful, practically radiating grace. Danny struggled to find words, being in the presence of what could very well be a goddess can do that to a person. Chiara giggled at the teen's obvious struggles, "You were always the funniest one Danny Phantom."

He gasped softly, "You... You know who I am?"

She smiled, "Of course. I know all of my children."

Danny titled his head in confusion, "Children? What are you talking about."

Chiara floated past him, her glowing aura shining brightly around her in the darkness. Danny followed after her. "As the first to thrive amongst the no longer living, I am responsible for guiding them to the Afterlife. I see them all as, my children." She explained.

Danny nodded, "Do you have any children of your own?" The second the question came out of his mouth he realized how stupid it sounded. Danny quickly tried to apologize but Chiara held up a pale hand to stop him.

"I do have children of my own. They are the ones you know as 'The Elder Spirits'." Chiara spoke. 'Wait,' Danny thought, 'She was the mother of all the Elder Spirits?'

"Yes I am." Chiara said suddenly.

Danny looked up at her, "Pardon me?" he asked.

The beautiful spirit brushed her flowing hair out of her face, "I can hear all your thoughts child. We are in your mind after all."

The halfa flushed, "Sorry."

Chiara smiled, "You have no need to be sorry little one. I am the one intruding your thoughts."

Danny perked up, "Which begs the question, why are you here?" he asked, hoping that it didn't sound rude.

Chiara frowned, the look seeming unnatural on her soft features. Her golden eyes became hardened as she stared straight ahead. "I came to warn you child. To protect you."
