A/N: And this makes 4 consecutive updates. Jeez, I have lost it. Well at least I hope you guys are enjoying all these updates :) Anyways, after this one I don't know if they'll be consecutive anymore, probably all over the place like usual. On the plus side I have a new writers room. It's guarded, human and ghost shielded, confetti cannons at the ready AND a 24 hour snack bar.
Ember: These snacks are really goodKitty: Yeah we should come over more often
Danny: Hey pass me the popcorn would ya?
Johnny: And pass a couple sodas while you're at it
Sam: Grab them yourself lazy butt
Tucker: *has a mouthful of food*
Me: AW COME ON!!!! I honestly don't know why I try. Hope you all enjoy this next chapter
Ghost Writer: *pops head in through the doorway* Cool, snacks
Me: Ugh
Danny's POV
I kept seeing Scarlet throughout the day. She even had lunch at the table next to Sam, Tucker and me. And oddly, we had almost every class together. The bell had finally rung, signalling the end of school. I walked out of my class and stopped at my locker. I spun the combination into my lock and opened the door, swapping out books.
I closed the door and almost screamed when I saw Scarlet's face smiling face on the other side of it. "Uh, h-hi Scarlet. What are you doing here?" I asked as I shifted my bag onto my back.
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school and work on our project for English," she said as she flashed me an even larger smile. How does this girl smile so much? She's like one of those creepy clowns that you see at the circus and then have nightmares about for weeks. I shuddered.
"Uh, I was actually going to hang out at the Nasty Burger after school today with-"
"The Nasty Burger? Sounds cool! Can I come?" she asked.
I rubbed the back of my neck. She was making it really hard to ditch her without hurting her feelings. "Look Scarlet I-" I paused as our eyes locked. I never really noticed how blue they were, almost like a endless ocean. "I..... I'd be glad if you came," I told her.
She let out a happy squeak and grabbed my hand, pulling me through the halls and out of the school. We reached the steps and I stopped, much to Scarlet's surprise. "We have to wait for Sam and Tucker," I told her.
She put on a pout, "They can meet us there. Come on, I'm still new in town and want to see the sights." Our eyes locked again. Maybe we could meet Sam and Tucker at Nasty Burger. They wouldn't mind if I showed the new girl around a bit. Maybe we could all- "Danny!" a voice shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I pulled my hand out of Scarlet's grip and turned to see Sam and Tucker exiting the school. Sam noticed Scarlet and frowned. She walked over to me and gripped my arm. "What is she doing here?" she whispered in my ear, putting emphasis on the 'she'.
"She wanted to come along, I didn't know how to say no," I told her.
"Like this. No," she whispered back.
I sighed, "She's coming along. Maybe this way we'll figure out if she's up to something."
Sam grumbled but agreed and we walked over to Tucker, who had already begun flirting with Scarlet. "So my name's Tucker Foley. That's TF, for 'Too Fine'," he said to an obviously annoyed Scarlet.
