Superflash vs Zoom (continued on another account)

Part 3

Caitlin and Kara spent the last four hours not only picking out normal clothing for Kara but they ended up having some fun too. Then headed back to Caitlin's apartment by 6:00pm.

"You hungry? I could order a pizza?" Caitlin suggested.

"No, thank you so much though. You know I've never really had that much fun in a while; aside from being Supergirl I never really have fun," Kara answered.

"It's really no problem. I've never really had anyone to do this with, it's kinda what I'd think a sister would be like," Caitlin said.

Kara looked down, "My adoptive sister and I never really shopped together, she worked for a place called the DEO or Department of Extra-normal Operations. An organization against aliens. She never really had a life outside of that, so it's new for me too."

"Well then I'm glad we went today," Caitlin said.

"Me too," Kara said then yawned.

"You seem tired, if you want to head to bed the guest bedroom is just down that hallway to the left," Caitlin pointed to the room.

"Uh, yeah, I probably should get some sleep, thank you so much again, Caitlin."

"No problem, Kara," Caitlin replied.

Kara went to bed, while Caitlin sat on the couch and watched some of the news for a few minutes before heading to bed herself.

In the morning Kara and Caitlin were up and at STAR Labs by 8:00am. They were trying to track Zoom because they had heard he wasn't on Earth 2 anymore.

"Can you track him by the lightning coming off of him? Like look for a place with an unusual amount of electricity volts," Kara suggested.

"Yes we can, that is a great idea," Caitlin said and started tracking. "Found him!"

"Good, where is he?" Kara asked.

"Wait, you're not going after him, are you?" Caitlin inquired.

"Caitlin he killed my friends and family and we've both seen Barry almost get killed from fighting Zoom. He may have kryptonite but I can still fight him. Other than the kryptonite thing he can't kill me," Kara reassured her.

"At least wait for Barry?" Caitlin asked.

Kara caved, "Fine."

"Kara! Kara I have something for you!" Cisco came running in excitedly.

"O-okay what's up?" Kara asked.

"Follow me," he said and lead her down to his workshop where he had been for a while this morning.

When they walked through the door Kara saw her suit on a mannequin, all the tears were fixed and all dirt and grime was washed off.

"You fixed it," Kara said, "Thank you."

"Not only that but I made the rest of the suit indestructible like the cape, I also somehow managed to insert little micro objects that'll reduce how much kryptonite radiation will effect you. Also Barry mentioned something to me about how you get your powers from the yellow sun's solar radiation, and I may or may not have inserted a solar panel into the symbol of your suit to keep you going, which'll also help with how much kryptonite effects you," Cisco explained briefly.
