Barry and Kara were sitting at the CCPD in his lab. Discussing what was different with everything.
"Wait how long have you been here?" Kara asked after Barry explained everything in full detail.
"A few months, why?"
"Because I've only been here a week, and when I came back from Earth-2 it seemed like you had just changed the timeline, and when I got that message from Cisco, it was only a few hours before that," Kara said.
He thought for a moment, "Maybe I changed the way time works completely on this Earth." He looked down. "I'm so sorry, Kara. I was so selfish, and honestly I'm surprised you aren't more mad at me."
"Don't be, I know I would've done the same thing, if I had the chance," she admitted.
"That doesn't mean anything, Kara. I changed a whole Earth by doing this, for my own selfish needs, because I couldn't get the fact that Zoom killed my dad through my head. I couldn't handle it, and to be completely honest I thought changing the timeline might bring you back here, but you did that on your own a-" he rambled.
"Okay, Barry, breathe," she placed her hands on his shoulders.
"How did you do it? Get over everything, I mean," he asked.
She breathed out, "Barry, no ever really gets over this type of thing. They just surround themselves with people that make them feel better. Like you, you made me feel better. And I think that knowing I was wanted or at least that you, Caitlin, and Cisco wanted me to get better, made me okay with it."
He nodded, "That still doesn't make anything I did okay."
"Barry, we're all human... Well you're human. People make mistakes, I make mistakes all the time, I'm sure Cisco here has made some mistakes, everyone," She reassured him.
He gave her a soft smile, "You're Kara Danvers, name one time you've made a mistake."
She chuckled, "Okay, how about the first time we worked together and I made you come fight Live Wire and Silver Banshee with me, without a plan."
He laughed, "Yeah, that's an okay example."
"Barry, just know that its not too late to fix things, or if you so desperately want to stay here, then do it," she said.
He shook his head, "No, I have to fix it." She nodded in understanding, "Kara?"
"Yeah?" He kissed her. She was shocked at first but then started kissing him back and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
When he pulled away she asked, "What was that for?"
"I may or may not forget some things when I change the timeline back to the way it was, and-" he was cut off by a sharp pain in his head. Memories of when he and Kara first met were flashing through his mind then slipping away.
"Barry, are you okay?" She asked, "Barry?"
Suddenly the pain stopped and all memories of when they met were gone, he still knew who she was, he just didn't remember how they met. "Uh, yeah, yeah I'm okay."
She looked at him worried, "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, Kara," he assured her.
"So, uh, what now?" She asked.
"I'm going to fix the timeline, make everything back to the way it was, and then..." he trailed off.
