An Avengers Fan Fiction

I couldn't believe it, I wouldn't believe it. After all my research, the time and money spent...this is what I get? I had just gotten the results to my blood test, the ultimate test to finding my real parents. And the results was one name I never thought would be possible. Jane Foster. The lady who helped save a small town from total destruction, the lady who had tons of research on a supposed solar system seperate from ours. Well, there went my dreams of a normal reunion. I packed up my stuff and headed back to the home, Charlie's Home for The Forgotten. Yep, appealing right? I'm Adda by the way. Originaly Addaline Amelia Thordottir, or at least thats what the note said when I was left on the steps of this place. I prefer Adda though, much simpler than a sob story.

I trudged up the stairs to my room slowly, Mrs. Bleu didn't even ask me how it went, she could tell from my walk. When I reached my bare room I plopped on the bed and covered myself with a quilt. How could this happen. I just wanted to get myself a normal life, even if I had to do it by myself. But I was stronger than this, I would find Mrs. Foster and get some answers even if it was something I probably wouldn't like. I sighed and sat up in bed. I walked to my dresser and looked in the mirror above it. My own blue eyes and curly blond hair resembled nothing of Mrs. Foster. I must resemble my father. I brushed out the curls and changed into some pj's and went to bed for the night.

I woke up in a sweat, every bad scenario I thought about translating itsself into a heart wrenching nightmare. It was five in the morning but I decided it would be an okay time to get up. I had made my decision during the night. I would make my way to the train station and buy a one-way ticket to New Mexico, Mrs. Foster's last known location. I packed what I needed into an over-used, green army back pack and took off down the stairs. I left a note to Mrs. Bleu letting her know of my intentions and made my way to the bus station.

When I arrived a train was just pulling in. Guessing by the sun's position I'd say it was about six now. I hurried to the ticket booth and bought my ticket without the clerk asking any questions. I boarded my train and waited patiently, though I did notice a few men in black business suits seat themselves across from me. Don't get me wrong, I give everyone a chance but these guys put off a bad vibe. Before long the train pulled off and I calmed down. I was finally headed in the right direction. I pulled a folder out of my bag and studied it's contents. It had every newspaper clipping or article I could find of Jane Foster. I read through every piece again and studied every picture. Hopefully she would understand when I just showed up on her doorstep. We pulled into New Mexico at three in the afternoon. As I hopped off the train I noticed the group of suits weren't far behind. I was starting to get sort of nervous. I took off at a jog towards the center of town to find a library. I made it into town and found the library thank goodness, though I couldn't see the men I had a feeling they were still watching me. Maybe they were from social services or something and had found out I had technichly ran away but oh well, I didn't need long to find Mrs. Foster.
