I woke up in the back of one of the vans, my hands tied behind my back and my ankles bound as well. I looked around at my surroundings and noticed Jane in a similar position but she was glaring at the men surrounding us. The was when I notcied the man in the strange armour was not with us like I thought he would be. I cought Jane's eye and shot her a scared look. What was my birth mother into? What had I just gotten myself into? She returned my look with an apologetic one. Maybe this wasn't her fault, but she clearly knew that man in the strange armour, so she was tied into this somehow. I decided to think my situation through while I had the time. The man in the uncle had said that he was "Thor's" evil brother. If what Jane had told me in her last minutes of conciousness were true, than that would make this man uncle. And if he was really Thor's brother that would make him, by myth of course, Loki, Norse god of mischief. Yeah, well I could believe that. I noticed Jane looking at my puzzled face and I smiled at her around the gag in my mouth and nodded my head. Hopefully she understood that I believed her, that I would help her and that I wasn't mad. But then again, that was a lot to get from a simple smile.
The van rumbled to a stop a few minutes later with a sharp "shit" from the driver. Through the windshield I saw Loki in front of the van, the reason for our abrupt halt. A moment later the back doors opened and Loki barked orders at the men surrounding us, yelling at them to untie our ankles but nothing else. The men hastily drew their daggers and cut the binds and hauled us out of the van. As I was forced to move I realized I was hurt worse than I thought. My many cuts stung and my right leg ached badly. I couldn't hold back a groan as i was dragged to the ground from the van unwillingly. Loki barked out a cold laugh in response. He came towards me and jerked the gag out of my mouth, "What is your name, young one?" I said nothing but just glared at him coldly, which earned me a smack to the face. "I said, what. is. your. name." he asked again. This time I couldn't hold back as I spat in his face. He growled and latched a hand around my throat. I gasped for breath until one of his men spoke, "Sir, you said we needed her alive." Loki's hand slowly released my throat and I swallowed some much needed air. The clone behind me retied my gag and moved me infront of the van along wiht Jane and the rest of the group. It appeared as if we were waiting for someone...
