Thor's POV
I ran back to the bridge as the fighting ceased, desperate to know how Adda was. I darted into the room, eyes roaming for that blonde head of hers. At first I didn't see her because I was too distracted by the medical team right next to her working on another young agent. Then I saw the son of Coul crouched down next to the Captain with Adda's head in her lap. I ran over to her and dropped to my knees beside her.
"What has happened? Is she hurt? Who did this to her?"
The rest of the avengers began to hover on the sidelines as Captain and Sir Phillip filled me in.
"She is not hurt physically, she is just unconcious." Captain told me.
I stared down at my daughter and pushed her messy hair back and simply asked, "My brother?". Phil nodded his dead solemnly. I tried to hold my anger in as I scooped Adda up into my arms and stood.
"Please lead me to your healing facilities." The hawk began walking and I followed him, hearing the footsteps of my team echoing behind me.
Adda's POV
The bright light faded around me to my father's face and a loud beeping noise. I groaned and tried to shift to my side but a needle in my arm stopped me. I groaned and sighed as my dad shifted beside me.
"Adda, honey, are you hurt?" he asked me worriedly.
"Just a headache." I replied, "but I'm reeeaallly starting to hate needles now."
I smiled as my dad chuckled but my face soon grew serious and I tried to sit up. Dad put a hand behind my back and helped me into a more comfortable position.
"There is something I need to tell you dad," I informed him sternly, "but you have to listen to me till the end with no interuptions and an open mind. This is going to sound really bad, and you probably won't like it but you are one of the only one's who will understand. You won't like who I heard it from but I have this feeling in my gut that he is telling the truth."
I realized too late that in my little speal I let it slip that this person was a "he" and of course, that didn't get past my father.
"He?" he asked, "Loki?"
I nodded my head and the atmosphere of the room changed and I could almost hear all the open minds clanging shut.
"Guys you just have to listen to me. I promise..." I was cut off by Hawkeye.
"Ads, we trust you, you know that. But we can't trust him, he has hurt us too many times before and he has been nothing but evil."
Hearing my uncle called evil set me off.
"Well then, you can just get the hell out if you aren't going to listen to me without giving it a chance because I'm not here to argue. I believe in what I believe in and I think once my father hears what I have to say he will too."
Everyone shut up as I got serious because they knew I wasn't normally like that. I looked at my father,
"Please dad, just hear me out." I begged him.
He nodded his head,
"I promise to you, Addaline Amelia Thordaughter, that I will listen to every word you say before I place my judgement."
I looked around the room and recieved nods throughout and even though he was last, Clint nodded to.
I took a deep breath and told them what Loki had told me.
